Investigative Work[edit]

OK, explanation here: I saw this guy was vandalizing List of leaders of the Soviet Union, and when I clicked on his contributions, I saw that 1) he had been banned several times before, and 2) was editing since 2015, which is odd, because I thought this guy was clearly a troll, and if you have been trolling on Wikipedia for 9 years, why would you not just get an account so that you can bypass some restrictions? So, I decided do dig deeper, and here's everything I did in a step-by-step process!

  1. I looked up the IP address, which told me that 207.38.173.82 was in the U.S. East coast, and several told me that it was in the City of New York. Adding to this, the account has made a lot of edits to things to do with New York
  2. One of them was able to tell me the Hostname, which was buckley11303.b.subnet.rcn.com. That's interesting, because this account has a lot of edits that are at least in some way linked to Buckley School (New York City). In addition, there are several other IP addresses that make edits to that page, such as 208.59.112.130 (also has a similar hostname of buckley20903.b.subnet.rcn.com).
  3. Finally, there is not a single edit from the months of June, July, and August, which is summer break for most schools in the U.S.

So, to recap, this is an account that only makes edits when school is in, is registered to a school, and makes a lot of troll edits, as shown by previous bans.

In conclusion, this is just the IP for a school tech device, and kids just vandalized stuff whenever they get bored. WIKIPEDA (yes i meant to misspell it) (talk) 21:48, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ok so the stuff about Patrick Chovanec is available on his blog however you are unable to credit blogs as sources. Search up prompts like "Patrick Chovanec Twins" or "Patrick Chovanec Birth" online and you will find the sources none of the stuff on his page is inaccurate, but I was unable to give a source because I didn't know how to put his blog there. I apologize for earlier inconviences and I look to be a better contributor to Wikipedia in the Future. DOn't Ban Me! 207.38.173.82 (talk) 15:52, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
