Ryan Nugent-Hopkins[edit]

Ryan is not commonly referred to by a nickname as you have edited on his article. Please before making these kind of changes use the talk page to discuss with other editors. Nicknames are not placed in the lead unless he is known more by his nickname than his real name. FYI I have heard the nickname RNH more than the nickname 'the nuge'. Also if you notice on Ryan Smyth's page he is not commonly referred to as Smitty or Hemsky is not referred to as Hemmer for the same reasons. Again please don't edit the page without discussion from your fellow editors. Karl 334 TALK to ME 21:37, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history shows that you are in danger of breaking the three-revert rule, or that you may have already broken it. An editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Breaking the three-revert rule often leads to a block.

If you wish to avoid being blocked, instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to discuss the changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. You may still be blocked for edit warring even if you do not exceed the technical limit of the three-revert rule if your behavior indicates that you intend to continue to revert repeatedly. Kaitlyn (wrestler)[edit]

Now you are just deleting my cited sources of Kaitlyn's moves. I had it well cited just like the bodyscissors move because I am the one who added all of those moves including two of the finishers, which are also well cited. So I am going to ask one last time to stop deleting my sources and moves or I will file a complaint on you for vandelism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hemmeband17 (talkcontribs) 20:59, 29 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Actually what you're doing (actually the undone edit was someone else, unless you're admitting to engaging in sockpuppetry?) is what could be considered vandalism (I would classify them as bad "good faith" edits personally). BLP (actually WP on the whole, but BLP especially) requires reliably sourced material (ie, not just any website) and the WP:PW group wants to limit the number of sig moves. Not every move a wrestler does is considered a "signature move", someone as inexperienced as Kaitlyn doesn't have as many as Cena. Check out WP:PW/MOS, feel free to bring this up with the PW group if you think I'm still in the wrong. --208.38.59.161 (talk) 21:08, 29 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

May 2012[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Ridernyc (talk) 00:17, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Cool! What are we edit warring over? I'm not the person who did it, though I appear to be the IP. If you're going to tar and feather me, can I at least see what I'm accused of? Call it morbid curiosity... 208.38.59.161 (talk) 02:31, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Unless you have a reliable source that explicitly states that "Traffic Jam" is a style parody of Prince's Let's Go Crazy, please do not keep adding that information to the Alapalooza article, as it will be reverted. Per Wikipedia's policies on verifiability, all information that could be challenged must be referenced with reliable sources, even if it sounds almost certain that a certain song may be a style influence on another. It must be sourced. Canadian Paul 13:51, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Last.fm does not meet the definition of a reliable source, because it consists of user-generated content. Please see Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard/Archive 57#Last.fm as well. Unless there's a source that explicitly links Yankovic to some sort of claim that that is the song he based "Traffic Jam" off of, then the connection is mere speculation and is not verifiable. Canadian Paul 19:00, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Note that including claims from one company that another company is putting out products hazardous to children really needs some strong sourcing. -- The Red Pen of Doom 23:18, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

All those resources you've deleted over twenty reliable resources not only from me, but from others too. They are perfectly cited and should stay on the page, and if it wasn't reliable or true, I would understand the deletions, but they are. I would and the others would appreciate if you wouldn't delete such resources. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.176.3.213 (talk) 05:29, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
