February 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Firefly115. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Tokugawa clan have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Firefly115 (talk) 02:24, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Second warning[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Izmir. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Festucalex (talk) 12:08, 25 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

March 2023[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on French Algeria. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. M.Bitton (talk) 17:31, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, the editing dispute is the problem, but this seems to be a problem only with English Wikipedia, so I'll be careful if other Wikipedias have an editing dispute like this. --220.77.173.83 (talk) 17:42, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

April 2023[edit]

Please do not add links to deleted files, as you have done on numerous articles including France in the early modern period and Marche Henri IV. Mindmatrix 19:37, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

To be fair to them it wasn't deleted when they added the links. It was however blatant copyright infringement and a file that had been previously deleted repeatedly and was thus speedied on commons. I would ask the IP to be careful that the files (and the specific recordings) that you add to Wikipedia are properly licensed. (See Commons:User talk:Vichycombo#File:Kingdom of France (Bourbon Restoration) Le Retour des Princes français à Paris.ogg for details) Cakelot1 (talk) 20:30, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
All right. --220.77.173.83 (talk) 14:11, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I see what you mean. --220.77.173.83 (talk) 14:10, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Kingdom of Sicily, you may be blocked from editing. NP83 (talk) 20:17, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

What's the reason? Is there a specific reason why you turned it back when it doesn't look like a damaging edit? --220.77.173.83 (talk) 20:18, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It has grounds that do not fit Wikipedia's Vadalize policy. --220.77.173.83 (talk) 20:20, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Kingdom of Holland—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 06:36, 23 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. You mean use the sandbox? But it's fascinating to roll back a contribution that doesn't seem to be undermined by Huggle. But I don't have the authority to use the sandbox. If you are planning to revert some parts, but if you have any problems, feel free to roll back. --220.77.173.83 (talk) 06:44, 23 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

May 2023[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia. Acroterion (talk) 11:10, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

All right. Wikipedia believes that there is a policy and guidelines, so there should be a way to keep what needs to be followed, and we will accept blocking when adding content or data that does not have a source. But since most of them are brought in documents or googling, who will review the evidence that it is absolutely certain. I got it. I'll be careful. --220.77.173.83 (talk) 11:15, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If it doesn't go my way, I'll just throw this IP away and get blocked, so I'll be careful. It doesn't matter because it's a public IP anyway, so it's not completely mine. I don't mind being blocked.

Whether it's a source-related guideline or a policy violation at times, I accept it and accept the blocking, and I always think it's a good evaluation. --220.77.173.83 (talk) 11:17, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon with clock
Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 60 hours for persistently adding unsourced or poorly sourced content. Verifiability is a core Wikipedia policy.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text at the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Acroterion (talk) 11:59, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address and you are an uninvolved editor with a registered account, you may continue to edit by logging in.
This frankly bizarre edit summary [1] caused me to take a look at your edits, which all appear to be unproductive fussing or unsourced. Wikipedia is not a sandbox for random edits, it is an encyclopedia./ I am concerned that you have not shown evidence that you can edit productively, or that you understand Wikipedia policies. Bluster is not a substitute for sourcing and consensus. Acroterion (talk) 12:11, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

August 2023[edit]
