@Alex:

Help[edit]

why does wikipedia block innocent users who where not involved in vandalism?

This IP address is a floating IP, meaning it is applied to different users at different times. Likely, others who had used this IP did engage in vandalism resulting in the block. To avoid these problems, you should register a username either on a different computer or after the block is up. 331dot (talk) 08:06, 27 April 2018 (UTC). Thanks, from 60.242.196.159 (talk) 08:08, 27 April 2018 (UTC) IP User 60.242.196.159[reply]
This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Decline reason:

The block is working as intended, as someone using this IP did vandalize. If it wasn't you, you should register a username to avoid this issue. The block is not a username issue as this is an IP address. I'm not sure your suggested username would be accepted if you chose to register it. 331dot (talk) 08:11, 27 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, No. If that is your user name, it was blocked. Go back to your user page-- unacceptable user name and vandalism. Special:Contributions/Daddycums tells the tale. The autoblock is working. And looking at the edits from this IP, it's good that it is.` --Dlohcierekim (talk) 08:44, 27 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

okay, someone did vandalise but why did you say my account was @Daddycums: when it was not mine? And also, why did you false report the edit from monkey bread when it was constructive?last one, someone who has the same IP address as me and i know that person just vandalised this talk page when i told him/her to stop. Any tips?

You can't register for a username that's already been used. Rotideypoc41352 (talk) 14:41, 27 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
As to the Monkey bread edits: there was a history of disruptive editing to that article (including vanadlism and experimental editing tests to the live article page) by you and/or someone else using this IP address. The edits were reverted by three different editors, including me, and I reverted you because of that history (and the history of disruptive editing to other pages) and the fact that your last set of edits broke the page formatting. I did notice that you provided a reference, and I incorporated that into the article. If you want to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, you need to read and understand the links in the #Welcome! section above, wait for your block to expire (or appeal it if you have a valid reason), and (since you state that someone else using this IP is the vandal) register an account. Then confine any test edits to the sandbox and quit experimenting in live articles. Be aware, that while Wikipedia bills itself as "the encyclopedia that anyone can edit", competence is required and, to summarize some of the key points, you need to be able to read and write English proficiently, read and assess the reliability of sources, converse with others and be able to present rationales when questioned by others, and be able to understand your own abilities and competencies and avoid editing subjects, articles, templates, etc. where lack of skill or knowledge creates significant errors for others to clean up. That last bit has been the problem from this IP in the past. Mojoworker (talk) 16:47, 27 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize, it wasn't me but today i will tell how do i create an account so i can avoid confusion with someone else using the same IP - 60.242.196.159 (talk) 06:41, 28 April 2018 (UTC). [reply]

how do i create an account once i'm unblocked? the other person was vandalising that article but i'll do my best to create an account with those instructions. 60.242.196.159 (talk) 06:44, 28 April 2018 (UTC). [reply]

how do I create an account when i'm once unblocked?

Play Wikipedia:The Wikipedia Adventure first to learn some editing skills - as Mojoworker has said above, competence is required to remain unblocked. I'd strongly suggest doing that before creating an account. And after that, edit in the sandbox first before going to live articles. Patience yields focus, Rotideypoc41352 (talk) 16:37, 28 April 2018 (UTC).[reply]

i've done it, and i need an account to do that. Can you help me how to make an account on 2nd of May?60.242.196.159 (talk) 04:50, 29 April 2018 (UTC) why did someone get into edit wars with me?[reply]

This IP address has been blocked for extensive disruption to Wikipedia. Any innocent bystanders are requested to follow the instructions at the Request an account process. If you are the target of this block, you are advised to slow down and read all the advice on this page, before requesting unblock. TheDragonFire (talk) 10:55, 29 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

my friends use this same IP address and whenever THEY vandalise I also get blocked because i use the same IP address and i tell them not to vandalise and they think it's fun. Any tips?

Yes: read the advice provided above and stop wasting the time of volunteers here by asking the same question over and over again. Yunshui  12:32, 30 April 2018 (UTC).[reply]

Because you vandalised. Clark 5:39, 30 April 2018 (UTC).

Block message:

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "NumbnessOfDestruction". The reason given for NumbnessOfDestruction's block is: "Clearly not here to contribute to the encyclopedia".

Decline reason: Autoblock is appropriate, preventing a vandal from continuing to attack Wikipedia. In fact, we should probably place an extended block directly on this IP address. I'll go do that now. Yamla (talk) 12:07, 18 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Also, account creation blocked.

While there is a way to request an account be created on your behalf, it takes a while. The fastest way to solve your problem here is to get onto the internet from some other IP address, one that is not blocked, and register an account yourself. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 06:37, 5 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

{{help me}} K. How you do that?

Get onto the internet from a different IP address? Borrow a friend's phone or use a computer at their house. Internet cafes or places with WiFi available. Public libraries. If you can't find any alternatives, I'm afraid you may be stuck at being blocked because of the bad behavior of other users of your IP address. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 19:15, 5 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

{{help me}}can you create a page called antifish and paste this info? Antifish is Lc0. AntiFish is trained from 96308 games (As of AntiFish Mark 125) of Stockfish 11 Dev (77k Nodes) vs AntiFish Mark 25 and Leela ID 11258 (800 Nodes), with temperature. These games are then used to train off of ID 32425 with a heavy focus on policy, and a learning rate of 0.00002. Also, Source: [1] Will you accept this as a new article? 60.242.196.159 (talk) 07:50, 25 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

In short, no. (I had to dig a couple of layers deep to even decipher what you are talking about. Lc0 appears to be some sort of chess game analyzer.) — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 08:27, 25 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}} What about this article creation request about Ethereal? Ethereal is a UCI-adaptable chess engine. It uses an alpha-beta framework in addition to pruning, reduction, extension, and other updates.[2]

Article requests without a suitable notability reference are unlikely to be acted on. While you've pointed to a GitHub repository for the source, it's not the existence of Ethereal that's in question, it's the notability. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 06:08, 26 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

can you add lc0 ((antifish)) as redirects for Leela chess zero because they're the same things?[3] ((as I said, Redirects to this article should be antifish, and Lc0.))60.242.196.159 (talk) 10:21, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
