Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Hi. I think you are exaggerating with the addition of those templates. Ethiopia has its own English dialect. Just because some words are present in the article, it doesn't mean the article is written in any specific dialect, it solely means that someone wrote them like that without applying the right variation. I think admins are needed really, because I'm not the first one to revert your edits, and you have a long-term issue with using American English solely because someone 20 years ago used -ize in the article. You are also deliberately skipping the condition to use the "1st post-stub edit" -> "When no English variety has been established and discussion does not resolve the issue". Has someone required in any of these articles to use a specific English dialect? Where are those discussions? Why are you adding the template if there is no discussion concerning a necessary English dialect? Because the phrase above is clear: If people open an RM and there is a consensus to use Canadian English in Niagara Falls, then Niagara Falls has to use Canadian English.
