Welcome!
[edit]Hello, 71.11.78.106, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:
- Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with what Wikipedia is and is not. Wikipedia is not just another news, forum, blog/webhost, promotional/advertising/directory, or social networking site. It is a place for serious, collaborative, scholarly assembly of knowledge about notable subjects into a high-quality encyclopedia, with verifiable references to independent, reliable sources. Many people come here with other expectations and have a difficult time as a result.
- Introduction and Getting started
- Contributing to Wikipedia
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- Simplified Manual of Style
Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by adding a space and four tildes to the end of the last line of your post, like this:
This is the last line of the post. ~~~~
The tildes will be automatically converted to a signature that contains your linked username and a timestamp to help keep conversations organized. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask at the Teahouse, ask me on my talk page, or click here to ask for help here on your talk page and a volunteer will visit you here shortly. Again, welcome! —[AlanM1 (talk)]— 00:39, 14 March 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Diep.io, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Decline reason:
If you somehow think vandalism is acceptable anywhere, you lack the basic competence to edit Wikipedia. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 21:27, 16 March 2020 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. Unblock
[edit]71.11.78.106 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I apologize for vandalizing Wikipedia. I have realized that that is inappropriate, and will contribute constructively instead. 71.11.78.106 (talk) 18:43, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
No thanks. You knew it was inappropriate before and did it anyway. You've demonstrated you should be blocked. Yamla (talk) 18:49, 20 March 2020 (UTC)

You also aren't addressing your blatantly obvious violation of WP:EVADE. You are SithJarJar666 and know you aren't welcome here, while your account is blocked. --Yamla (talk) 18:51, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
@Yamla: Actually, I'm King of Scorpions trying to get my IP unblocked. If you think about it, I did nothing wrong. I just happened to share an IP with a vandal (which SithJarJar666 never told me about by the way). I was just copyediting, and then next thing I know, I'm blocked! I'm trying to get unblocked, but if not, I may just have to quit Wikipedia altogether. I used to think it was friendly, but now I realize how hostile it really is. (these might be my parting words, or they might not. I'm not sure yet. --King of Scorpions (aka KOS) 71.11.78.106 (talk) 15:40, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- You know how to make an unblock request. This isn't it, and demonstrates you are continuing to be abusive. --Yamla (talk) 15:45, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
KoS's unblock request
[edit]71.11.78.106 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I understand that it looks like I'm a sock puppet of SithJarJar666, but I'm really not. Therefore, I'm requesting unblock so that I can get back to constructive Wikipedia editing. I understand what I'm accused of, and I'll make sure that nothing like this ever happens again. Thank you. 71.11.78.106 (talk) 15:52, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Continuation of this pointless palaver. Talk page access already revoked as noted below. Favonian (talk) 18:08, 24 March 2020 (UTC)

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If the block is a CheckUser or Oversight block, was made by the Arbitration Committee or to enforce an arbitration decision (arbitration enforcement), or is unsuitable for public discussion, you should appeal to the Arbitration Committee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
