[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Shadow government (conspiracy) has been reverted.
Your edit here to Shadow government (conspiracy) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJldun440Sk) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 22:41, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice.

I have undone some of your edits to the salvation article. While your contributions are welcome, it would help discussion if you maintained a regular identity via a username. Such usernames do not have to reveal your actual identity, and can often facilitate greater productivity and reciprocity in the Wikipedia community. Please consider registering. I look forward to discussing the salvation article at that article talk page. Regards, -Stevertigo (t | c) 01:37, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your changes, and again request that you discuss the matter on the talk page. -Stevertigo (t | c) 20:45, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
PS: I should add that your edits were mostly commendable. I am open to writing a version much like yours, provided we can cooperate. I don't see why we can't - your edits are intelligent and focused. The main issue with your version is that it comes entirely from the Christian-ese domain, and disregards the issue of salvation from biological death, the conquering of death being a central aspect of salvation. Regards, -Stevertigo (t | c) 20:56, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi 81, thanks for responding on the salvation talk page. I've just posted a response. -Stevertigo (t | c) 00:40, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Reincarnation

Nice work on the introductory paragraph; it reads much more fluently and coherently now. hgilbert (talk) 10:42, 3 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Bodhi. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Mahayana page additions

[edit]

Please do not add original research to the lead section of the Mahayana page, especially when the viewpoint seems to be entirely that of Theravada polemics. This Mahayana page needs to rely on the best materials available from reliable sources, such as scholarship on Mahayana Buddhism performed by specialists. The Theravada viewpoint you give is not accurate to the actual historical information available, and represents a biased viewpoint rather than informed scholarship on the matter. Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, it's important to be mindful of the feelings of your fellow editors, who may be frustrated by certain types of interaction. While you probably didn't intend any offense, please do remember that Wikipedia strives to be an inclusive atmosphere. In light of that, it would be greatly appreciated if you could moderate yourself so as not to offend. Thank you.

Your comment "Keep the chutzpah up old man" at my talkpage is diff uncivil. See WP:CIV. Joshua Jonathan (talk) 08:13, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yoga

[edit]

Hi, I restored your edit upon reviewing it. The editor previous to yours on the 16th had blanked a section. In bringing back your edit, you brought back the blanking of that previous editor; that is what I saw when I reverted you. After I reviewed it, I scrolled down further and saw your additions. I am no judge of the subject of yoga, as I know little about it, so I am not going to touch it again. I added a comment/explanation of my self-revert, and my re-addition of the blanked section of the previous editor at User:CorrectKnowledges talk page. Sorry for the trouble, and happy editing! Hamamelis (talk) 09:00, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved the content you added to Hindu philosophy#Yoga. Cheers! Correct Knowledge«৳alk» 09:11, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or change content, as you did to Spirituality, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.

January 2014

[edit]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Moksha, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 07:30, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please cite sources

[edit]

People want to be able to verify information on Wikipedia. So, significant edits need have their content cited using reliable sources. See verifiablity. This means that information must be published, and presumably vetted, by reliable groups and individuals. What you should do is to locate a source that supports the edit you wish to make. Then add a citation to that. Peruse the welcome section above to learn about editing Wikipedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a note on my talk page. Welcome and Happy editing! MIndfulness

[edit]

I think you need to read WP:VERIFY and WP:RS. We don't use pdf copies of correspondence, although we might use correspondence published in scholarly publications. As the OED is not discussing the Buddhist concept, its definition isn't relevant. The rest of your edit was unsourced and does indeed appear to be original research as described in WP:NOR. Dougweller (talk) 10:54, 11 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your response. I'm about to take some time off so won't be able to respond today, but I've copied it to Talk:Mindfulness which is the best place for it in any case. Dougweller (talk) 18:29, 11 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
