Information icon Hello, I'm OrangeGarfield. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Charlie Elphicke, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! OrangeGarfield (talk) 10:15, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Jair Bolsonaro into Adélio Bispo de Oliveira. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa (talk) 21:47, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edits to medical articles

[edit]

Hello, I'm not really sure about your recent edits to medical articles ... some of the text you've copied makes no sense outside the original journal articles where it comes from. Please see the medical manual of style and the reliable sourcing guidelines for medical articles. Also, if you have a conflict of interest relating to any of the authors you've cited, you must disclose it. Graham87 (talk) 00:32, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, your recent edits are OK. Keep in mind the guidelines about technical terminology in medical articles and avoiding the use of the word "recent", though. Graham87 (talk) 06:41, 29 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
