Removing article talk page posts made by others

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Esther (1986 film), is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Please do not do anything like this again, unless you have a very strong policy or guideline based for doing so as explained in WP:TPO. Removing a legitimate talk page post left by other editors in good-faith is one of the quickest ways to end up having your account blocked by an administrator. You’re welcome to respond to the post or even ignore the post if you like just like anyone else. What part of Please just do not do anything like this again didn’t you understand? If you want to respond and say you addressed the concerns raised, then do that. Archiving a post for no apparent reason other bthan to get it off the talk page is not appropriate and can give others the impression you’re trying to WP:OWN the page. Is the issue you raised not solved by me now? If so, why does that trivial uglifying notice need to be there anymore? And, re your most recent comment (cannot comment there myself), again, I addressed the issue and it is fixed now, I did not, contrary to what you wrote, just deleted your notice, so, why must it stay there rather than be archived?--87.70.97.132 (talk) 12:53, 5 October 2018 (UTC)

Most of your edits to date seem to be focusing on Esther (1986 film) and Berlin-Jerusalem. When a new editor focuses mainly on one or two articles, including creating them, their contributions can easily perceived as an apparent conflict of interest. Wikipedia doesn’t expressly prohibit conflict of interest editing, but it does highly discourage it. So, if you are in any way connected to these films or anyone associated with them, then you should carefully read Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide and try to follow it as closely as possible. Fair enough, but it might be a good idea to switch your focus to something else for a bit to add some balance to your contribution history. A new IP who shows and starts creating articles translated from other language Wikipedias, etc. may find their edits highly scrutinized by others since most newbies would be lost doing such a thing. The articles were approved by AfC so they are likely safe from deletion; so, stepping back a bit and seeing what edits others might make could be a good thing. You could always ask someone belonging to a relevant WikiProject or request WP:PR for feedback as well. — Marchjuly (talk) 12:35, 5 October 2018 (UTC)
