A few suggestions:

  • Please use an encyclopedic wp:tone. Avoid this kind of prose: Its themes and atmosphere are similar to his prior movie Smell of Camphor, Scent of Jasmine, however with no repeat. It enjoys entirely other atmosphere and form. Both relate to death, but each otherwise. I removed it.
  • Please use Help:Footnotes. These begin with <ref> contain the citation and end with </ref> There are wp:templates which can help you format a footnote. {{cite web}}, {{cite book}}, {{cite news}}, and {{cite journal}} (for magazines)

Should the title have title caps: House on the Water?

This link is dead: http://www.reel.com/reel.asp?node=features/interviews/farmanara

Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 09:06, 27 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Jim1138
Thanks. Yes I believe you are right, it should be in capital letter, like The Silence of the Lambs. I think it also has to have an "A" at its beginning, i.e.: "A House on the Water". I would appreciate your help in changing its title, as I do not know how to change the article names in Wikipedia.
Thanks in advance,
A.R. Mamduhi (talk) 09:25, 27 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Are you sure it should be A House on the Water? It would be annoying to the admin who has to fix it... None of the links I clicked on seemed to mention House on the Water. I checked IMDB.com as well.
You can notify a user with an account by adding {{u|Jim1138}} then signing "~~~~". But, remember to save both the wp:ping and signature at the same time or the user won't get notified. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 09:35, 27 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
{{u|Jim1138}} Thanks again. Please see "Khanei ruye ab" in IMDB.com. Actually I translated automatically the article from Esperanto Wikipedia, and edited it a bit; I would be pleased if you revised its English.

Speedy deletion nomination of STEB[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on STEB, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. | Uncle Milty | talk | 17:35, 4 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Aalen Cultural Esperanto-prize[edit]

The article Lingva Komitato has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
