Conflict of Interest
[edit]Hello, AJP2016. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article List of awareness days, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you.LP1966 (talk) 19:11, 4 April 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to List of awareness days, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. I'm not sure why you would make edits that a disruptive to previous edits, messing up the reference information as you did within this edit but that kind of edit would be considered disruptive. I am guessing that it is because there's some sort of contention around the FND UK day and the International FND day, but that kind of editing is inappropriate and against WP:Civility, a core principle at Wikipedia. –CaroleHenson (talk) 19:40, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
