Dear Wikipedia Editor,
I recently received a notice that the Wikipedia page I submitted has been rejected. I am writing to inquire about the reason for the rejection and seek guidance on how to improve the page to meet the criteria.
I spent a considerable amount of time researching and writing the content for the page and I believe it meets the notability and verifiability criteria set forth by Wikipedia. However, I understand that there may have been specific issues that led to the rejection of the page.
I would appreciate any feedback or suggestions that you may have to help me improve the page and resubmit it for consideration. I am eager to contribute to Wikipedia and I value the opportunity to share my knowledge with others.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely, ASHWIN MX ASHWIN MX (talk) 04:16, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Alalch E.. An edit that you recently made to Draft:The History And Evolution of The Augmented Reality Technology seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or another application using such technology). Text produced by these applications is almost always unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and your edit has been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page.

Please write the prose yourself and ensure that all statements are supported by a reference. —Alalch E. 11:00, 8 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry Sir,
I respect your remarks on my article but the article The History And Evolution of The Augmented Reality Technology has not been generated from Any AI Chatbot. I respect your views on my article.

Hello. I notice that you have created several pages like Draft:Russian Federation And Soviet Union and Draft:The History And Evolution of The Augmented Reality Technology and Draft:China : The Complex Economy. These pages all exhibit many problems. I would ask that you cease creating pages directly in mainspace or moving your pages into mainspace until you demonstrate the ability to create acceptable articles.

Among the problems exhibited by the articles you have attempted to create:

  1. Many of them appear to have been substantially composed by LLMs, which, for a number of reasons, are not an acceptable method of composing content for Wikipedia.
  2. For the most part, you do not seem to be citing your sources. Citing sources is required to establish that an article on a topic should exist, and to allow others to verify the information in the article.
  3. You often seem to begin paragraphs with a space, which throws off the formatting of the article.
  4. You started China : The Complex Economy directly in mainspace with content consisting solely of "Coming Soon . . ." empty articles are not allowed and are speedy deletable under WP:A3.

Please confirm you understand this, and let me know if you have questions. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 20:58, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ASHWIN MX, please stop moving pages around. This is getting disruptive. And persistent disruptive editing can easily lead to a loss of editing privileges. Liz Read! Talk! 05:05, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I haven't moved any pages sir. ASHWIN MX (talk) 05:59, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this was the first article that you created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

The page Draft:Russian Federation And The Soviet Union has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appeared to be a direct copy from https://www.history.com/topics/european-history/history-of-the-soviet-union. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion review. Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello ASHWIN MX! While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 08:02, 15 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
