Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Abigayale, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited was Draft:Abigayale, which appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Abigayale requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. buidhe 00:43, 3 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Abigayale moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Abigayale, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 01:39, 3 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

for being able to edit I really need a page I am sorry I didn't know Abigayale (talk) 23:24, 8 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Wikipedia is not a place for people to tell the world about themselves. This is an encyclopedia that has articles(not mere "pages") about subjects shown with significant coverage in independent reliable sources to meet Wikipedia's special definition of notability; in this case, the definition of a notable musician. Wikipedia is not interested in what someone wants to say about themselves. Please review the autobiography policy. If you want to be a general Wikipedia contributor, please describe what subjects you will edit about as you won't be permitted to edit about yourself. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 01:22, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. Request reason:

to be able to edit and create article Abigayale (talk) 22:44, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Request reason:

Hi I would like to be unblock. I've been block and now I understand and I will make useful contributions instead.

Decline reason:

If you look at this edit, you can see that I did some work on Galactic Empire (Star Wars) to clean it up. I cited sources, added content, and fixed up the article to conform to our content policies. It took a while, but I think I made the article a bit more readable and useful. Now that you've seen an example of what kinds of edits we're looking for, what edits will you make? Can you give us a broad example of what you'd do? Just make another unblock request and describe the edits you want to make. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 09:22, 11 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I've been block automatically and I would like to be unblock to make some edit on my sandbox and submit articles. I understand what I have been blocked for, for not having following a rule. I understand that, The block is not necessary to prevent damage, but I will not cause damage or disruption, and I will make useful contributions. Please unblock me, I would be careful next time.

  • Your repeated unblock requests saying the same thing and not responding to the questions posed by administrators is disruptive and a waste of editor time. I have therefore revoked your Talk page access.--Bbb23 (talk) 16:57, 12 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Abigayale

[edit]

Hello, Abigayale. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Abigayale".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! - RichT|C|E-Mail 15:09, 3 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
