Probably nobody thought you were attempting to be deceitful, but such a username might confuse people, even if you didn't mean it to. A request for a change of username doesn't belong on this page: you need to do it at Wikipedia:Changing username/Simple. Yu have been unblocked to let you post a request there; please do it as soon as possible, and don't edit again under your present username, apart from requesting a change of username.
