VFD for a systematized list of abbreviations

[edit]

Based on your comment at Wikipedia:Templates_for_deletion#Template:GNumber, I thought you might be interested in contributing input to Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/List_of_all_single-letter-single-digit_combinations, where the page I mentioned creating in that TFD discussion is up for deletion ... and there is discussion of nominating all such pages for deletion. Thx for the Translation (Eben Norton Horsford)

Sometimes it is a little confusing to edit articles in the german and english wiki ; ) Cheers, --Gego 04:53, 2 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Intresting Ayyavazhi Family

[edit]

Hai Aecis, there are intresting articles about Ayyavazhi, a new religion on both mythology and religiosity. Wikipedia is rich with this topic in English, but poor in other languages. Since french is a leading language in Wikipedia it is better to translate the contents on this AYYAVAZHI family to french. - Paul Raj

Hi. Could you explain why you keep changing this from a {{corp-stub}} to a {{drink-stub}}. Thanks. Guettarda 12:15, 28 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

So sorry

[edit]

My apologies. That comment was intended for another user, I didn't realize there were two comments on that page. Sorry...

Oceania Struct Stub ??

[edit]

Having just edited Barracks Arch, bit mystified why there is no Aust or Perth struct stub, oceania is a bit too large a category for my understanding... I am sure there is something at a more local level.vcxlor 15:23, 30 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thankyou, yes I have had communication with grutness already, and was just putting a message on his talk page as you sent yours. I have burdened him also with my fantasy of the whole wiki system crashing as someone tries to run a bot to actually put usa in the us location articles that do not have any identifier of country (being an oztralian, i find the us-centrism of wikipedia rather problematic) - i figure that there are at least 10, 000 items that need usa identifiers in them...  :) Thanks again vcxlor 15:42, 30 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, thanks for that edit, I'm still getting the hang of the format the wikitonarians are looking for.The Invisable O 22:13, 1 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I have built a script to speed up voting on AFDs and am looking for feedback. Please have a go! jnothman talk 06:47, 2 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Aecis,

The List of country names in various languages, List of European regions with alternative names, List of European cities with alternative names, List of European rivers with alternative names, and others, have come under attack by a certain Mikka, who, having just stumbled into all these lists, having found them of little use to himself, and having repeatedly ridiculed them and their users, has then promptly filed a petition to delete the lists in question.

Please cast your vote to keep these valuable, informative, and indeed fascinating lists at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of country names in various languages.

Thanks! Pasquale 17:19, 2 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Jim Jiangbo

[edit]

I've nominated Jim Jiangbo, an article you've just created, for deletion on AfD. I am not convinced of his notability, but I also don't think you would create hoaxes or nonsensical articles. Because of your contributions to Wikipedia, I am now taking the (for me) unusual step of informing you of the AfD and asking you for an explanation on who Jim Jiangbo is and why this article should be kept (because you created the article, I presume you think this article should be on Wikipedia and therefore should not be deleted). Thanks for noting this to me. -- user:zanimum

Dear Aecis,

Thank you for your message. We thought it would be OK to remove the site from the copyright violations list because we made clear that we hold these rights. However we understand that our text advertises too much. We will upload a new text which is only informational but not advertising. Hope everything is fine then. Thanks!
