Dear Aishani, DEADLINE FOR FIRST 500 WORDS DONE ON TIME. However, for the next deadline, I'd like you to read a book & add material. Also revise & add some more material to your current material you've added, but do it from the book that you now read. Good work. - Shirin--Shirin tejani (talk) 12:20, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi,

Good to know that you have created your userid on wikipedia.

However, would like to remind that you are missing on following deadlines for 3 of your subjects decided by your teachers.

Please reach out to any of your campus ambassadors for any queries you might have.

A bowl of strawberries for you!

Hi Aishani!

This is for your contributions in your chosen article Social preferences. Keep the good work rolling!

Cheers,

Ram (talk 15:33, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Good work improving the stub article, just a few minor points outside the subject(since i have 0 knowledge on it).

  1. Please try to follow Manual of Style. If not all, major ones like WP:LEAD etc
  2. Please interlink as you write. Currently I see mostly plain text and one of the best practices while writing Wikipedia is to link cautiously and continuously. Also try to introduce links to article so that its discover-able.
  3. Please review your contributions and make sure you dont hit "Tags", I see you had hit 2, they are probably indication based on ruleset that you are doing something wrong. I am not sure if the subject is present both in economics as well as socialogy and you are referring same / different one, in which case you need to create a seperate page and put a WP:DAB link. Try interacting with other editors of the page by leaving message on talk page, so they could review the content better.
  4. Look at the source to see how I have created a numbered list :) I see you have added (i) and (ii) inline in the article. May be you could play a little more with WP:MARKUP on WP:SANDBOX

Lastly, Explore Wikipedia outside the article chosen, you would have lot of fun outside it. I know college subjects can be boring for few, so try out articles that interest you like Bollywood,Music, etc and contribute to them :) Feel free to leave a message on talk(though i may respond with a delay) Srikanth (Logic) 11:37, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Topic Selection for IFS

[edit]

Hey, Aishani Sharma,

I see you have selected the topic Public Sector banks in India for your IFS assignment. I would however recommend you to not start a completely new article on the topic, instead create a sub-section of the topic within the article, Banking in India.
