If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Fun Spot Trampolines, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Theroadislong (talk) 12:00, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Fun Spot Trampolines. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, as you did at Fun Spot Trampolines, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. As you are aware, this article has been created repeatedly after deletions. It has been the subject of a discussion which concluded that it was unsuitable for inclusion in the encyclopaedia, and attempting to unilaterally overturn consensus at a discussion by ignoring it and repeatedly re-creating the article is unacceptable. The article Water Trampoline was substantially copied from another web page, making it an unambiguous copyright infringement. I see that you rearranged the text and slightly reworded it, but there was enough similarity to make it perfectly clear that it was essentially a copy. You may find it helpful to read Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing, which gives further information relating to such nearly-copied text. Unfortunately, the article has been deleted, as Wikipedia has a very strict policy on copyright.

It is likely to be disheartening seeing the first couple of articles you create deleted almost immediately. My advice to new editors is that it is best to start by making small improvements to existing articles, rather than creating new articles. That way any mistakes you make (which you will, because we all do) will be small ones, and you won't have the discouraging experience of repeatedly seeing hours of work deleted. Gradually, you will get to learn how Wikipedia works, and after a while you will know enough about what is acceptable to be able to write whole new articles without fear that they will be deleted. Over the years I have found that editors who start by making small changes to existing articles and work up from there have a far better chance of having a successful time here than those who jump right into creating new articles from the start.
