Speedy deletion of Akshay singh[edit]

A tag has been placed on Akshay singh requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Flewis(talk) 10:14, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

Please refrain from uploading copyrighted images under free licenses. All images have been deleted and edits rolled back. This is the second such time this has happened; if you continue to do this, you will be blocked. Black Kite 18:36, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

You have been temporarily blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for repeatedly uploading copyrighted images under free licenses. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Black Kite 10:11, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked again[edit]

Yet again you have uploaded an image (this time, a town seal) and claimed that you own the copyright to it. I have therefore blocked you indefinitely. Please read this page for details on licenses for uploading images. If you then make an unblock request on this page (see WP:UNBLOCK) showing that you have read and understood that page, that you know why what you are doing is wrong, and that you will not do it again, then I am willing to unblock you (and I'm sure any other admin will too). File source problem with File:Le reduit (5).gif[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Le reduit (5).gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:33, 26 August 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:33, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
