Your contributed article, Stored pressure fire extinguishers[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Stored pressure fire extinguishers. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Fire extinguisher. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Fire extinguisher. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. – NJD-DE (talk) 10:33, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Creating new articles on existing topics[edit]

There's no deadline. Instea of creating a non-viable article with plans for future major improvement, wait until you have time and references available to write the article you want in a form that is suitable. You might want to explore WP:DRAFT and the WP:AFC process to allow you to develop the articles over time and potentially seek assistance deciding whether they are ready. Information icon Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. DMacks (talk) 18:47, 25 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Utcursch. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Govindaraja IV, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. utcursch | talk 14:35, 26 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make unexplained changes to information on Wikipedia, as you did at Fire engine. Repeatedly changing and reverting is just as disruptive as other forms of vandalism. I have no idea what makes you want to do this, but please stop. 10mmsocket (talk) 12:20, 5 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits on fire engine[edit]

Hi. I noticed these [1] numerous trivial edits on Fire engine. Please be aware that this may be viewed as gaming the system to get to extended confirmed status. Note that extended confirmed status can be disabled for users who get there through gaming. --RegentsPark (comment) 13:34, 7 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you enough to report it at WP:ANI. 10mmsocket (talk) 19:46, 7 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Although i made pointless edits in "Fire Engine" page but my aim wasn't to damage the content as i had reverted the edits in the end. I did that just to increase my nuber of edits and i won't be doing it again. As i wasn't aware of wikipedia block policy please unblock me. AkweQ520 (talk) 06:48, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Yes, we are aware that's why you were doing it- that is called gaming the system. The rules and technical policies we have exist for a reason and you were attempting to circumvent them for your own purposes. Now that you know that will not be permitted, please describe the constructive contributions you wish to make and tell why we should trust that you will abide by guidelines and policies in the future. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 08:19, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
