Hi Alkris mike, and thank you for your contributions. I don't either - Wikipedia isn't facebook, and so there's no need to show everyone what you look like. If you're determined, however, instructions can be found at the picture tutorial.

Redirecting your userpages

[edit]

Er... don't do that. You've screwed this up so badly that I can't even see how to fix it easily; I'm going to ask an admin to step in. If you want to change your username, please see Wikipedia:Changing username and follow the instructions there - what you've done is absoultely the wrong way to approach the problem. Changing user name, use of talk page, and Wikipedia is not a social networking site.

[edit]

Please don't move user pages or user talk pages to nonexistent users. There is no such user as either "Mike Angelo Obiña" or "Mike Angelo Obiña Biography". If you want to change your user name then look at Wikipedia:Changing username, don't just move the pages. User talk pages in particular should not be moved unless the user has been renamed, as it is important to have a record of messages to a particular user.

A talk page on Wikipedia is for discussions relating to contributing to the encyclopaedia, not for posting general information about oneself. The content you have put here does not belong here, and should be removed. I am leaving it for now, to give you a chance to remove it yourself.

Finally, I should like to point out that Wikipedia is a project to build an encyclopaedia, not a social networking site, blog provider, or free web host. We do give a certain degree of leeway to editors of the encyclopaedia to put some information about themselves in their user pages, but this is on the understanding that it is merely background information, relating to their work on the encyclopaedia. Neither user pages nor any other Wikipedia pages are provided as free web pages for use completely unconnected with work on the encyclopaedia. If you wish to contribute to the encyclopaedia then that will be great, but at present it looks as though you may be using Wikipedia purely to post information about yourself, in which case you would be better off going to FaceBook, LinkedIn, blogspot, or somewhere else that exists to provide that sort of service. Since you have not removed the material which does not belong in a talk page, I have done it for you. JamesBWatson (talk) 16:32, 1 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
