I like to also update the English Wikipedia :) Amimqj (talk) 19:17, 23 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Amimqj,
Thank you for trying to help build our encyclopedia! On the English Wikipedia, we need any biography of living people to include references to reliable sources. This is a requirement that is different than some of the other encyclopedias. References are things like newspaper articles, magazine articles, or books that talk about the subject. The easiest way to start learning how to make references on Wikipedia is to read Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners, which includes a nice video showing how to use the RefToolbar, which makes working with references a whole lot easier. Best of luck! --j⚛e deckertalk 19:24, 23 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
PS: If you have questions, or are still trying to understand what is going on, you might try asking a question at the WP:Teahouse. Thanks! --j⚛e deckertalk 19:25, 23 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Galis[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Galis, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. An article you recently created, Football at the 2022 Maccabiah Games – Men's tournament, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
