Hello CoastalActing. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a black hat practice.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Anne Sharpe. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Anne Sharpe|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. TonyBallioni (talk) 17:31, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I am not paid to promote Dollface.

  • My concerns are raised by your user name, and the inclusion of an actress that you have created an article about on this page [1]. TonyBallioni (talk) 17:37, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your concerns. I am not being paid to promote Dollface or any actors.

January 2017[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "CoastalActing", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because Your user name gives the impression that multiple editors use this account to edit Wikipedia.. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. Exemplo347 (talk) 18:10, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I used the user name because I wanted to write articles about actors on the east coast and about indie films made on the east coast. I am happy to change my user name though because I am NOT being compensated for this. This is what I'm most interested in writing about.

You should fill in this form to change your user name. Can you also please confirm, per these rules, if you have any connection to the subjects of the articles you have created? This is not limited to PAID connections. Regards Exemplo347 (talk) 18:15, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Google informs me that at least one of the subjects of an article you have created is represented by a firm with a name similar to the user name you have chosen. Exemplo347 (talk) 18:20, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I am part of a fan group called coastal indie film fans for films made in the south east and actors sometimes join us for screenings.

The article Kirsten Ray has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Exemplo347 (talk) 18:20, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kirsten Ray requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Exemplo347 (talk) 18:34, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This is an actress that was in a film that she as already MENTIONED on another actresses page-- I think she has a right to be linked to this film as she is also linked through the IMDB page as well!!

IMDB is not a Reliable Source for Wikipedia articles. Actors must meet both the General Notability Guidelines and the Notability Guidelines for Actors to be considered for a Wikipedia article. All sources used for articles should be Independent of the subject, from Reliable Sources and must indicate Significant Coverage. IMDB, which anybody can edit content for, does not meet these guidelines. Regards Exemplo347 (talk) 18:43, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Dollface[edit]

The article Dollface has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet WP:GNG or WP:NFILM

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of Dollface for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Dollface is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

I suggest this article stay on wikipedia due to the number of articles available online for it and the amount of interest seen through Hulu and Facebook numbers.

Information icon Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Elizabeth Mears, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 23:24, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Suicide Note (film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Television movie that does not pass WP:NFP (TV movies usually don't), and has no hope of ever passing it. Current version of the article is completely unsourced.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --IJBall (contribstalk) 14:41, 17 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Elizabeth Mears has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Minor actress who does not pass WP:NACTOR (let alone WP:BASIC). Current sourcing at article does not help with the latter. Also, article created by editor with a very likely WP:COI.

Your draft article, Draft:Elizabeth Mears[edit]

Hello, Anne Sharpe. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Elizabeth Mears".
