You deleted citations to this fact from Times of India (the largest daily in India) and Manorama (the largest daily in Kerala) https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/entertainment/malayalam/movies/photo-features/top-horror-movies-in-malayalam/photostory/50159066.cms and https://www.manoramaonline.com/travel/travel-kerala/2021/08/08/alummoottil-meda-haunded-house-movie-manichitrathazhu.html. The family website alummoottil.com has the details of the manichithrathazhu (the ornate lock) and the history of how an assasination inspired the article.
