Hi, Aoba47, I tend to edit Wikipedia as a hobby, bu I just came across an article about the 'I Need You' song by Paris Hilton as I was googling her, and while I read her article, I realized there wasn't much actualization on the page from 2012-13 onward. She has done a residence for the past five years in Ibiza and that is not mentioned either in the career's section. Also, in the last paragraph of the lead, it is first stated that her fragrances have made US$1.5 billion, and just later on, it says US$2.5 billion (which is the more recent report I read). The lead mentions too much info, especially the paragraph about her debut album... Hey Aoba, how you doing? I'm leaving a message on your talk page because I'm finally back to Wikipedia (claps and cheers on the background) and able to push my projects to my arms again. I've been inactive during two months because I was very, very busy working and I additionally decided to take a break and not use internet for some time, it was hard for me (I must confess) I just abandoned all my GAN but on the other hand I reflected about so many things and spent my time reading and going outside to ride and walk etc... I did some minimal things that I actually forgot how good and positive were for me because I was so focused on this virtual world. But I'm here now and I'm asking for a favor, are you still "down" to review Fifth Harmony's "Down" again? I've made some edits and I would appreciate your avaliation.   • Thank you for the comment, and I hope that you had a great break. I think that it is important to have a balance, and not spend too much time on Wikipedia. I think that the "Down" article is in great shape. My only concern is the music video GIF. As I noted in the previous GAN, I do not believe that the caption really justifies its inclusion. I would swap out that particular caption and source with something specifically about the motel setting (which is shown in the GIF). Both Fuse writer Bianca Gracie and Gil Kaufman of Billboard make comments about the setting, and would make for better image captions to justify the inclusion of the GIF. I unfortunately do not have time to do an adequate review. I am trying to get a lot of progress in my current job search and career planning. Incredibles characters[edit]

Hey there! I hope you're well. I know you probably don't need any more projects on your plate, but if you're ever looking for an article to create and/or improve upon, as you've probably noticed I've been in the process of expanding some articles for the The Incredibles' characters. Currently I've gotten Edna Mode promoted to GA and Violet Parr is well on her way, and I've been thinking about possibly taking a stab at Elastigirl (she currently lacks her own article, and she definitely deserves one now that the sequel has been released) sometime in the future. However, I was wondering if you might be interested in developing that article instead? I think it might be a very fulfilling project for anyone, if you have time. No pressure obviously and I'll probably get around to it myself (I'll be focusing on some smaller-scale projects after Violet), but just a thought :-)--Changedforbetter (talk) 00:40, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Changedforbetter: Thank you for the comment. You have done great work with the Edna Mode and Violet Parr articles. Making an Elastigirl article would be the next logical step, as the character received a lot of attention in the sequel. I am taking a break from new projects to focus on off-Wikipedia activities (putting together a portfolio, job search, etcs.) and I am mainly doing FACs (primarily of my work on television shows and albums as I know that can pass without any real difficulty). I may do some new projects here and there, but there will be smaller ones on more obscure subjects if that makes sense. When I do return to Wikipedia, I will most likely do some sort of fictional character as I really do enjoy working on them and reading them in general (though, I will just settle for having them reach GA level). I am actually thinking of doing another animated female character in the future (Yzma); I love The Emperor's New Groove and Eartha Kitt in general. Haha interestinggggg choice! Yeah I think most of the hate towards it comes from the negative feelings towards Disney's direct-to-video sequels in general (and the frankly lukewarm reception towards the first Pocahontas movie), but as far as low-budget sequels go Journey to a New World is definitely not the worst offender. I'm looking forward!   • That is really cool! I honestly not a fan of most of the Disney's direct-to-video sequels; I only really like the Aladdin and Pocahontas ones lol. For some reason, I have always been interested in this film's take on history (if you look in my sandbox, I am also working on The Beautician and the Beast article so I apparently have a thing for films most people hate lol). I completely forgot about the Lion King sequels. They were actually really good too. I unironically like Fran Drescher and the early seasons of The Nanny (I enjoy its very classic sitcom sense of humor, though I thought the show got very bad in its later seasons). I also think it is kind of sad how there is so much criticism against her just for her voice; I always found that a little weird. I would be interested in seeing your take on The Little Mermaid II article; I like the concept for the film, but I thought its overall execution was not that great. Yeah I've never really understood the hatred directed towards her simply because of how she sounds; I actually think her voice entirely works for her as an actress (think Drew Barrymore's lisp or Jennifer Lawrence's huskiness). I agree with you about Mermaid – strangely, though, I was really young when I first watched it and actually saw the sequel before I saw the original severalllll years later, so for a long time to me Return to the Sea was the only Little Mermaid haha; didn't realize how poor it is until I saw the 1989 film and noticed that it's just Ariel's daughter going through what she once went through, minus the romantic subplot.--Changedforbetter (talk) 20:14, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • I agree 100%. That is really interesting lol. When I was younger, I played a lot of video games that was inspired by stuff before seeing the original (for example, I played Tomb Raider before watching any of the Indiana Jones (franchise) films and Spy Fox before any of the James Bond films.). If you haven't seen The Little Mermaid television show, I would recommend that; it is a prequel to the first movie and I really enjoyed it when I was younger (that and the Aladdin television show). Haha funnily enough, although I never watched The Little Mermaid's animated series in full, serialized format, I've seen bits and pieces of it here and there sporadically, and actually happened to own a copy of a few episodes of the show on a VHS back in the day.   • I use either the passing or failing template depending on the result of the review, and then I delete the review from the talk page as it is already linked through that template. Hello Aoba47! We have not been formally introduced but I saw some of your comments on the FA nomination of Whip it, and I was totally impressed with the way your mind--apparently--works and the quality of the prose you demanded! I loved it! I am currently being mentored to present an article I just finished raising to GA status, and my mentor suggested that I get some informal peer review. This is way out of your comfort zone--I can see you know a lot about music--but your comments make me think you know a lot about writing--and good writing isn't limited by topic, right? Were I to fix all of the issues with Born Villain, would you be willing to to review it for GA, or do you know someone who would be willing to review it for GA?--MagicatthemovieS

  • The issues with the article would take some time to fix. For instance, the "Analysis" section is still underdeveloped and needs a lot more work. I would still encourage you to make a request for a copy-edit here to improve the prose. I am currently taking a break from Wikipedia (and will be coming on here not as frequently once my current FAC and GAN are completed). If you decide to put this back up for GAN, make sure that you have all of the work completed (i.e. adding the very incomplete "Analysis" section after nomination would make it an automatic fail in my opinion).
