Hello. I know with the rules of Wikipedia, I have been registered here for a long time, but I am active in Russian Wikipedia. The fact is that among the Lezgins there are Shiites only in one village, Miskindzha, only in one clan. they make up less than 0.15% of the entire Lezgin population, not even 1%. specifically for the purpose of propaganda, some people specifically write about it. but in the Russian Wikipedia or in the Lezgin Wikipedia this is not. I'm sorry but you don't seem to do. You can't just change resourced information which contradicts with what you are saying. Simply calling it 'propaganda' is not gonna cut it. --HistoryofIran (talk) 19:43, 15 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I understand you, you can check it yourself, let's see in the village of Miskindzha 3,322 people live in 2019. there are 16 clans in the village: Agymedar, Agatsarar, Binetar, Gylar, Kakamar, K'ayitar, Tumbular, Klarklarar, Klachlamar, Kelbiyar, Lezgerar, Mirimar, Stlurar, Fezliar, Hartluklar, Khuter. of them shitta: Binetar and Mirimar and all. Even if we take the population of the entire village, the Lezghins are 880,000 thousand and we have about 460 villages, in each village there are from 5-10 to 70-80 clans. does it make sense to write this and mislead people? Let's say you don't understand our clans and don't know what clans there are Shiites, ok. Just because of a couple of people, because of one village, is it correct to write the Shiite minority? The minority is not 0.10-0.15%, but at least 2-3%. Aserbaidschaner (talk)

I read these quotes, also in some sources we are called the Turkic people, but all this is erroneous, all this has already been discussed in the Russian Wikipedia. Apparently you are not familiar with our geography, let alone Lezgins, even Azerbaijanis in the north of the country are Sunnis. Shiites begin from the area of Aran and there are always more of them in the regions bordering on Iran: Bilasuvar, Astara, Lankaran, Lerik, you are right there are many of them, but there are no Lezgins there, Talysh live there. If you claim that there are Shiites among the Lezgins in Azerbaijan, name one Shiite Lezgin from Azerbaijan. They are not there. In one Lezgin village alone, there are 2 clans that are associated with Shiism, and that's all. please look in any neutral sources about this, or in the discussion on the Russian Wikipedia. Far from convincing argument. Seems like you put your own point of view above not one but three sources. The Russian Wikipedia has zero relevance here. Take it to the talk page and reach WP:CONSENSUS. We’re done here. HistoryofIran (talk)
