English[edit]

Hi Augusto, you have come across a very common corruption of the English. The correct phrase is "write to me", but online it is very commonly shortened to "write me".--nixie 23:46, 11 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Pardon me for butting in, but it depends on the dialect. Write me is not generally accepted in British or Australian English, but is completely standard in American English ("write me soon!", "write your congressman"). Best, JackLumber, 12:35, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you have not created the image yourself then you need to indicate why we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the image qualifies under Wikipedia's fair use guidelines, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use.
