Speedy deletion nomination of OMCO[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on OMCO, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Welcome ![edit]

Hi there, same as #January 2020, and on same page. Wikipedia articles and templates' talk pages are places where we wikipedia editors discuss *how to improve the corresponding wikipedia articles or templates pages*. Talk pages are not place where we chat about various things we wonder.

If you want to start such chat, here, on wikipedia, you will likely be ignored or your message removed as out of topic.

It s quite normal for new users on wikipedia do be confuses, it s something to discovert by trial and error, and friendly chats here. Wikipedia is weird place, messy by nature,so we have conventional and explicite rules to constantly set it back on track. Asking, learning, impriving is what we do all. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on 2020 coronavirus outbreak in Croatia (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
  • disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
  • is a redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Disambiguation link notification for March 21[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Bosnia and Herzegovina, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 12:26, 21 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

List of SARS outbreaks nominated for deletion[edit]

Hello AustroHungarian1867! I have nominated the page List of SARS outbreaks for deletion, since I do not think a list containing two outbreaks of related virus strains is warranted. COVID-19 in France[edit]

Hi AustroHungarian1867! Please, do not use figures for France from JHU or Worldometer. There has been extensive discussions in the talk page explaining why these figures are wrong. See Wikipedia:WikiProject COVID-19/Case Count Task Force#Common errors and the discussions linked there. Note that you cannot just ignore these discussions (WP:IDHT). Notice about General sanctions/Coronavirus disease 2019[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

A community discussion has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The specific details of these sanctions are described here.

Broadly, general sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Sources[edit]

Hi. The best sources to demonstrate notability are independent sources containing significant coverage (WP:GNG) such as newspaper coverage.

One has to be careful not to include material unless it has been published in a reliable source, especially when it comes to biographies. YouTuber commentators are not usable as sources, so descriptions of negative reactions to videos would require that information to have been published in a newspaper.

In general, it's good to try to summarize only what independent sources have said.

If you have any questions about editing feel free to write on my talk page, there's also help desks available.

Omer Nadarević moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Omer Nadarević, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. Currently the entire article is sourced by unreliable sources.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. A tag has been placed on Category:WikiProject Pandemics indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Liz Read! • Nothing important. The page should have been deleted more than a year ago because people decided to purposefully merge it with COVID-19 WikiProject so that it's just COVID pandemic and nothing else of pandemics. Damn them! AustroHungarian1867 9:37, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
