Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Don Gregorio Antón, from its old location at User:BLAN-JU/sandbox/Don Gregorio Antón. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 15:22, 12 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Help me!

[edit]

Hi - I just relisted my page and was wondering where it exists at this time. Thanks for the learning experience!

BLAN-JU (talk) 10:25, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi BLAN-JU, if you're talking about your draft about Don Gregorio Antón (which you created at User:BLAN-JU/sandbox/Don Gregorio Antón), it was moved to Draft:Don Gregorio Antón as mentioned in the message above this. This draft was then deleted under criteria G12 as an "unambiguous copyright infringement of http://www.uarts.edu/events/2014/01/don-gregorio-anton-not-one-alone". Please note that you can't copy text from elsewhere. However, you can do so only if the text is public domain or available under terms that are compatible with the CC BY-SA license. If you need help on copyright, see this FAQ. I also note that at your user page, there is an article about Don Gregorio Antón, this isn't where an article should be, see this page for more on what you can have on your user page. If you want to write another article about this person, read Your First Article, then try using the Article Wizard to create your article. If you need any more help, then just click here, or leave a message on my talk page. Thanks.  Seagull123  Φ  14:10, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Help me!

[edit]

Hi and thanks for the information. I took your advise and made some changes to the articles location and its refrences. If you have the time, would you please be so kind as to review this now and let me know what you think?

Thanks again!

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Don Gregorio Antón, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. reddogsix (talk) 15:53, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:CONTACTSHEET145.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:CONTACTSHEET145.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:30, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Help me!

[edit]

Hi - I am very happy to hear that my article has been assessed as Start-Class, and that it now can be found on Wikipedia's home page. I was wondering if it will be listed as an independent web site on the web with its own reference insert?

Thanks!

BLAN-JU (talk) 12:49, 25 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Eventually, search engines will index and list the article as a page on Wikipedia. Ⓩⓟⓟⓘⓧ Talk 15:51, 25 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Don Gregorio Antón, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Getty and John Wood. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Please help me with a question . . .

I have noticed that when do a search on google to find my page the name appears in the upper right hand corner of the search but the picture in the article does not appear with it as it does in other articles I have researched. Have I done something wrong? BLAN-JU (talk) 03:03, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

That's nothing to do with Wikipedia. That's Google's indexing time. If you have further questions, ask us in the IRC channel. Acalycine (talk) 03:41, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest

[edit]

Please read the guideline WP:Conflict of interest to see how it affects your editing work at the autobiography Don Gregorio Antón. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 18:44, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, BLAN-JU. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Don Gregorio Antón, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies.

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 18:34, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

November 2017

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Don Gregorio Antón. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks!
