Status and advice[edit]

As reviewing administror, I've reviewed your article Brian L. Strom. It was clearly a professionally written public relations biography, and therefore clear that you have any obvious conflict of interest. I would have been fully justified in deleting it via speedy deletion as being essentially promotional. But since he is unquestionably notable because of his administrative position and because of his named professorship at Penn, (and I would assume also because of his research , though I have not yet checked that part), I decided to rewrite it. I frequently edit here in the field of academic biographies especially in biomedicine, and dealing with something like this is rather routine for me. I could alternatively have asked you to rewrite it, but my experience is that people with COI are almost never capable of writing a NPOV non-promotional article.

If any corrections are needed, do not make them on the article. Add them to the talk page, with a line saying {{request edit}} }},and they will be evaluated. DGG ( talk ) 09:23, 7 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
