September 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Oopsemoops. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Albany High School (New York), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Moops T 06:52, 9 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Moops, I just rephrased the existing language, content per se wasn't touched. However, if you are not comfortable with my edits, its totally fine. Thanks again for flagging. Banasiewicz (talk) 06:56, 9 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

October 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm VickKiang. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Insurance Brokers Association of India (IBAI) seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. VickKiang (talk) 05:09, 10 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Indian Institute of Soybean Research requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from mysarkarinaukri.com/find/directorate-soybean-research-jobs/104908 and iisrindore.icar.gov.in/varieties.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Mirrors[edit]

Information icon Thanks for contributing to the article Robert Ackman. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. Can you please tell me why you inserted this news story onto the page? [1] The preceding text is:

"The result made the party the second largest in Parliament after the People's Party of regional president Alberto Núñez Feijóo, and Pontón became Leader of the Opposition."

Which is already cited with a reference from when it happened in July 2020. Why did you then add a news story from this week? Your story was about Pontón criticising the rise of prices, something which every opposition leader in every town, state and country is doing right now; WP:NOTNEWS. There hardly needs to be a second source for a non-controversial thing like her being leader of the opposition, but your news story didn't even say that, all it said is that she is the leader of the BNG. Additionally, the page was in Galician, not Spanish as you said, and I see nowhere that the author was called "Christian". Curious, very curious. Unknown Temptation (talk) 14:05, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Now on Junta of Castile and León, you put a news story about abortion as a reference for a paragraph about term limits. What is going on? As you are using the same website every time, are you being paid to link to them? Do you even understand Spanish? Do you know what Wikipedia is and what it is WP:NOT? Unknown Temptation (talk) 14:11, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

And this on António Guterres. [2] The preceding text is a quote about renewable energy in 2022, you add a news story about human rights in Peru. Your behaviour is completely unacceptable and can't be written off as one mistake or a few. You are either being paid to link every single story this website produces, or you can't read the sources, or both. Unknown Temptation (talk) 14:24, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There is a discussion about your editing at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Spam. You are strongly recommended to discuss your edit history there. Unknown Temptation (talk) 08:46, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
