Welcome!

Hello, Beansheffield, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for helping us build a great free encyclopedia. We have five basic principles, but other than that, we advise that you be bold and edit. If you ever have any questions or need help, feel free to leave a message at the help desk, and other Wikipedia editors will be happy to assist you.

Thanks again and congratulations on becoming a Wikipedian!

P.S. New discussion threads for you will appear at the bottom of this page.

Hello Beansheffield,

It seems to me that an article you worked on, Carson-Dellosa publishing, may be copied from http://www.linkedin.com/company/carson-dellosa-children's-publishing. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.

Thank you for helping build a free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 17:44, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Carson-Dellosa publishing, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. – MrX 17:55, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notes[edit]

I'm afraid that User:Carson-Dellosa has wasted their time contacting us about licensing the text of the article. It has been deleted as being promotion or advertising, and would be again even if freely licensed. Please look at WP:SPAM. The Carson-Dellosa account has been blocked, as it is a violation of our policy WP:USERNAME for appearing to represent an organisation. Please remember that Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a directory or social media. Though free to edit, there are rules. Also, possibly unknown to many outside Wikipedia, there are patrollers who check things... Good luck with the educational work, anyway. Peridon (talk) 22:23, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
