You may also wish to consider using the the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dominic F. Antonelli, Jr. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Everard Proudfoot (talk) 04:53, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've deleted the article, but added the full text of the article to your user subpage User:Benbowers3/Dominic F. Antonelli to allow you to develop the article there. Please see WP:BIO for details of notability criteria, and WP:CITE for details on using templates such as {{cite web}} for references. It may be that the subject of the article is non-notable. Should you wish for the user subpage to be deleted, please tag it with {{db-u1}} and an admin will delete it for you. Please take the time to read the pages linked in the welcome notice I've left at the top of this page, as they explain about Wikipedia and the various policies etc. Mjroots (talk) 09:35, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Benbowers3. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "The Change".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/The Change}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 14:03, 13 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dominic F. Antonelli, Jr. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/alt.obituaries/EFD1dSm0Vks. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of Dominic F. Antonelli, Jr.

[edit]

Hello Benbowers3,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Dominic F. Antonelli, Jr. for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

I tweaked the code so the Washington Post reference would appear and removed the speedy delete. The article needs more references! But I'm sure they exist given that the Washington Post published an obit. JSFarman (talk) 05:15, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you.

Thank you! Still a work in progress. I’ve added several articles and will continue to add info in the coming days. Benbowers3 (talk) 06:32, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Great! He was quite, um, colorful. Thank you! JSFarman (talk) 06:51, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
