My Message

Hello, peeps! This is my talk page. Don't cuss or be violent here, okeh? ♫

From AFC

[edit]

Hi, and welcome to WikiProject Articles for creation! We are a group of editors who work together on the Articles for creation and Files for upload pages.

A few tips that you might find helpful:

  • Please take time to fully read the reviewers' instructions before reviewing submissions.
  • The reviewers' talk page is the best place to ask for help or advice. You might like to watchlist this page, and you are encouraged to take part in any discussion that comes up.
  • Article submissions that need reviewing can be found in Category:Pending AfC submissions and there is also a useful list which is maintained by a bot.
  • You might wish to add {{AFC status}} or {{AfC Defcon}} to your userpage, which will alert you to the number of open submissions. There is also a project userbox. If you haven't done so already, please consider adding your name to the list of participants.
  • Several of our members monitor Wikipedia's help IRC channel, and you are welcome to join in to ask Wikipedia-related questions.
  • The IRC channel #wikipedia-en-afc connect is used occasionally for internal discussion regarding the Articles for Creation process, and also serves as a recent changes feed, displaying all edits made in the Articles for Creation namespace.
  • The help desk is the place where new editors can ask questions about their submissions. You are welcome to help in answering their questions.

Once again, welcome to the project. Bewwy3 (talk) 07:46, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Teahouse interaction

[edit]

Hi there. I'm a Teahouse host, and you are very welcome to seek help there any time you need genuine help with the technical difficulties of editing Wikipedia. We realise this can be quite a hurdle for new users as they settle in to how things work here. I've left a welcome message for you at the top of this page which gives you a load of useful key links to get you started. But apart from at WP:REFDESK our help forums do not answer general knowledge questions that you ought to be able to research yourself by using Wikipedia or Google.

I was a bit surprised to see that you had awarded yourself one of the old 'Teahouse badges' which Teahouse Hosts themselves would have handed out (and the subsequent userbox you added is really intended for your main userpage, not here. Anyway, not to worry - but once you get yourself settled in, remember that our only purpose here is to help build this amazing encyclopaedia, based solely on Reliable sources. Do jump in and start editing articles that need improvement, but why not try our interactive tour called The Wikipedia Adventure? Seeing that you seem to like badges, you'll find there are 15 different ones to collect as you tour the universe, learning the basics of how Wikipedia operates. Everyone has to start somewhere, and your own adventure starts here! Let's hope it's a productive one for you and for the project as a whole. I'm guessing you might be a young student? If so, reading this might ensure you keep safe online here: Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors. Regards from the UK, Nick Moyes (talk) 09:55, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

False userboxes - please remove

[edit]

You are misleading other editors by your fake barnstars and false userboxes.

Most I can accept as just pointless messing around, but I require you to remove the Adopt-a-User invitation immediately. That userbox adds your name to a list of genuinely competent editors, and will cause confusion to others. Nick Moyes (talk) 09:19, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Done! :) (I accidentally removed some userboxes though but I'm fine) Bewwy3 (talk) 13:24, 6 March 2019 (UTC) Bewwy3[reply]

The Block

[edit]

March 2019

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Man I Have to Edit My User Page

[edit]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I will just do a little edit to my user page and you can block me again.

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. 331dot (talk) 11:13, 7 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

2nd Attempt

Request reason:

Okay, I kinda understood why I was blocked. I didn't really make that much contributions on Wikipedia. The only pages I edited were my user page and my talk page. Now I know. I must've found articles to edit and always help the community. And finally, I will make Wikipedia like an encyclopaedia, as it was meant to be. Bewwy3 (talk) 12:43, 7 March 2019 (UTC) Bewwy3[reply]

Request reason:

I guess this time I clearly understood why I got blocked. I read the policy and I got sent the answer here, or it may be the answer, but anyways, I'll admit here that I did something wrong.

When I went to the link, I found my mistake there that I could relate with: I was acutally interested in editing only my user page. Yes, it's so true that I could relate with it. I've edited very few articles, and that the edit notifications popping up are mostly from my user page.

So if I get unblocked, I will also spend time on editing articles with very detailed information or something that sounds like the editor advertised it. This is what I will do to prove that spending time on my user page will not happen again and to prevent myself from being blocked another time. Bewwy3 (talk) 14:33, 7 March 2019 (UTC) Bewwy3[reply]

Decline reason:

Please don't open multiple unblock requests at once. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 20:01, 7 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

4th Attempt (With Sockpuppetry)

[edit]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

I guess this time I clearly understood why I got blocked. I read the policy and I got sent the answers here, and because of sockpuppetry. I'll admit here that I did something wrong. When I went to the link, I found my mistake there that I could relate with: I was acutally interested in editing only my user page. Yes, it's so true that I could relate with it. I've edited very few articles, and that the edit notifications popping up are mostly from my user page. Another mistake I forgot to tell, I made another account named Ayieee to pretend another person was befriending me. Actually, I already had a feeling that someone might catch me and it happened. Sockpuppetry. Again, so if I get unblocked, I will also spend time on editing articles with very detailed information or something that sounds like the editor advertised it. This is what I will do to prove that spending time on my user page will not happen again and to prevent myself from being blocked another time. Also, I will delete all barnstars sent to me from myself (aka. Ayieee) on my user page and the talk page. I am going to edit this article of Tokyo Tokyo because it has a section that has advbertising on it.Bewwy3 (talk) 14:33, 7 March 2019 (UTC) Bewwy3[reply]

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficiently convincing for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. Yamla (talk) 13:34, 18 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for being honest and taking the time to read our policies. Can you find an article that you'd like to edit and describe what changes you would make? Just update the current unblock request. You don't need to open a new one. NinjaRobotPirate (talk)
