Welcome! Hi, please stop vandalizing pages to change the sovereign nation of Taiwan to "Chinese Taipei". Hello, Big Wang, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!  Hello, some boxes I made myself. You can go to my userpage and hit "edit" and see the markup that make the user boxes. I don't know all the varieties, but this

{{userbox||lightcyan|[[Image:KMT flag.png|40px]]|This user is a [[pan-blue coalition|pan-blue]] supporter.}}

produces this

This user is a pan-blue supporter.

Hope this helps BlueShirts 06:58, 8 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Not another one![edit]

I might have to remove the ROC flag on my (former) user page if more pan-blue people start showing up. To maintain the balance of the cosmic duality, you know. 共产党万岁! -- Миборовский U|T|C|M|E|Chugoku Banzai! 08:04, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings! I am myself a pan blue supporter, but I have yet decided to put a userbox for that. Just curious, how could a person be a native Chinese speaker and in the mean time a native English speaker? (re: your Babel boxes in your user page), Regards, -- Luenlin 08:25, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

excuse me but isn't your username a little offensive for someone who doesn't know chinese ??????? Crisonarock 09:54, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article List of Spanish words of English origin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unencyclopedic list with no text or explanation.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I have nominated List of Spanish words of English origin, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Spanish words of English origin. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Shadowjams (talk) 06:52, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A beer for you![edit]

I had to LOL about someone with the username of "Big Wang" commenting on the 2014 celebrity pictures hack (AKA "The Fappening") AfD. Unintentional hilarity, but still great. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 10:33, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Haha, thanks. Had this username from a while back. I knew I HAD to opine, with my username and all. It's almost as if it were my calling Big Wang (talk) 02:20, 3 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for August 23[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Caishikou Execution Grounds, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Chinese and Xuanwu Gate. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Editing a webpage[edit]

Dear Big Wang,

I'm part of the European Young Chemists' Network (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Young_Chemists%27_Network). In order to reach to a higher audience we've planned to translate the wikipedia article of our association to several languages, including chinese. We've even translated the text through a native friend (https://www.odrive.com/s/8db1f77b-665c-4487-b640-b96efc5cc88a-5bb4e48e) but I've tried and failed to upload the content since I haven't been able to surf the chinese version of wikipedia, even less edit it. If you don't mind and have some time we'll be really pleased if you can upload the translated content for us.

Thanks for your time!

Cheers,

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Taiwanese referendum, 2018, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Central News Agency (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

A tag has been placed on Black Myth: Wukong requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.gearosplay.in/2020/09/top-6-samurai-martial-arts-games-of.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
