Image without license
[edit]Unspecified source/license for File:Arnold's Bar and Grill Logo.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Arnold's Bar and Grill Logo.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (Talk • Contribs • Owner) 19:45, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Bigcurl254, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Arnold's Bar and Grill, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way because you work for or represent the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to discuss your proposed revisions on the article's talk page and then ask me or another editor to make the changes.
In addition, if you are an employee of Arnold's or expect to receive compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing. You can do that on your user page here or on the article's talk page.
Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

- Tutorial
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- How to create your first article (using the Article Wizard if you wish)
- Simplified Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! valereee (talk) 10:16, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of L'amour Supreme
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on L'amour Supreme requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.1stdibs.com/art/paintings/figurative-paintings/l-amour-supreme-walking-into-fears/id-a_8483572/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - Please note that it is not enough to copy from a source, cut and replace the words a bit, and then submit that. It still gets flagged by copyright-violation software. signed, Rosguill talk 21:16, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
L'amour Supreme moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, L'amour Supremeis not suitable as written to remain published. It appears there is a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 13:18, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
- Specifically, since you denied being paid on my and Onel's talk page, can you explain how you came to own the rights to this photo of monsieur Supreme that you uploaded to Wikimedia Commons as your own work? signed, Rosguill talk 16:17, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
- Hi, It was easy to get the photo. I just messaged him on Instagram and asked him for the photo and the rights to it. I told him I was trying to build out his wiki page and he should really have one considering all of the notable work that he created. I also told him that if it was a photo that was already on the internet somewhere that it would probably get rejected, which has happened to me. I am a big fan of his work. A super fan even. I actually have met him once when he was in Cincinnati and have my own photo of him that I took myself as well. I would be happy to use that one instead. I figured worst case scenario would be that the picture would be taken down. I had no idea all of my work could be deleted completely. Thanks in advance for any help. Bigcurl254 (talk) 17:47, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
- You're going to need to reupload the photo with an appropriate license in that case, as the currently listed own-work CC release is not adequate for images that were taken by someone else and copied to you (i.e. we need evidence that the photographer released the original rights. It's a bureaucratic pain, but that's copyright law for you). You are free to resubmit the article by hitting the "Submit your draft for review!" button on the draft page, but note that as long as you continue to exclusively write about L'amour Supreme and related topics on Wikipedia, your contributions will be closely scrutinized for neutrality and notability. signed, Rosguill talk 17:54, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
- Ok, I will remove the photo resubmit the drasft and include the photo that I took myself. Thank you for the help. Bigcurl254 (talk) 22:03, 18 April 2023 (UTC)

- Hi there. Thank you for the reply. I went in and looked at the page on draft space and it does not have the one I just created. It only has one that I tried to create in February of last year. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bigcurl254 (talk) 17:40, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
