Hello, Bill. Your change to LEO (computer) seems to have replaced correct information with incorrect information. The change has been reversed, but you need to be careful to make sure that you avoid making similar mistakes again. JamesBWatson (talk) 19:30, 27 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi James (or whatever your name really is). The change to the Leo page was almost correct. Previously it said that the clock was 500 Hz which is clearly wrong and I changed it to KHz though it should have been kHz. I'm getting old!! I'm involved with old computers as a member of the Computer Conservation Society, and although I had no previous experience with LEO I am currently involved with a project to build a replica of EDSAC on which the LEO I was based.

Yes, it seems you are right. I did think that, even for such an early computer, 500Hz was remarkably slow, but I searched on the internet and found a source that said so. It is quite possible that that source had just copied the information from Wikipedia. Anyway, thanks for putting me right on this. JamesBWatson (talk) 20:04, 28 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
