Hello Binnajung. I saw the John Palgrave Simpson article you recently posted. I haven't looked at your contribution list yet, so I don't know if this is your first time creating an article. In any case, maybe you should take a look at the links on your "welcome to wikipedia" posting on your talk page (above). You need to provide references to show that something is notable enough to have an article (and to prove it is a real thing), such as this case.
