Wikipedia is an encyclopedia[edit]

Remember, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. If you aren't interested in helping to write the encyclopedia (and I don't see any encyclopedic contributions from your account) there are plenty of places that you can go for the social networking aspect, such as MySpace. --Cyde Weys 18:00, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The same is available for you. Now, don't make me waste my time anymore and go troll someone else please, allez gagedé. Buenaparte Social Club 13:00, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

I've blocked you for 24 hours for trolling and a generally unpleasant attitude. When you come back please make an effort to work more nicely with your fellow Wikipedians. --Cyde Weys 13:17, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

and just what do you know about to be nice? to say a new comer to go watch elsewhere instead of welcoming him is your way of a "generally pleasant attitude" (never heard about the WP:NPA policy) ?! Menacing a new comer to be blocked if he don't edit and blocking him anyway without reason is your practice of the "work more nicely with your fellow Wikipedians" (never heard about WP:DON'TBITE)?! I've nothing to learn from you so why don't you go trolling someone else and just leave me alone, you'll be nice one for once. Buenaparte Social Club 16:05, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Another welcome[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia![edit]

Dear Buenaparte Social Club: Welcome to Wikipedia, a free and open-content encyclopedia. I hope you enjoy contributing. To help get you settled in, I thought you might find the following pages useful:

Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes.

If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Wikipedians try to follow a strict policy of never biting new users. If you are unsure of how to do something, you are welcome to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator. One last bit of advice: please sign any discussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again welcome to Wikipedia, and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD! -- Samir धर्म 00:51, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lebedev[edit]

I was looking through the Mikhail Lebedev page and it seems to be vanity and non-notable to me. First of all, there is hardly any information about him on Google. Then, none of the publications seem to be news-worthy and notable. Finally, the scientist does not have many 1st author publications and seems to be non-important in his field. If you agree with me, can you please help me nominate Mikhail Lebedev for deletion? --GoOdCoNtEnT 08:45, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What is "non-notable to you" can be "notable" to someone else. So, instead of deleting an article, I would recommend you to be open minded and to respect other editors work. If you don't "like" an article, just browse another one. Buenaparte Social Club 08:49, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Protect-gear-nishio.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Protect-gear-nishio.png. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Otoko-tachiguishi-poster.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Otoko-tachiguishi-poster.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Hellhoundsmanga.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Hellhoundsmanga.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 14:43, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Amazingcomicsissue2.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Amazingcomicsissue2.png. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Buenaparte Social Club! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 938 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Hinano Yoshikawa - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
