Information icon Hello, I'm Jingiby. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Bulgar language, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Jingiby (talk) 15:04, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Bulgars, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Jingiby (talk) 16:03, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yenisei Inscriptions moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Yenisei Inscriptions, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Tuva

[edit]

You have stated on a few pages that Tuva was the Yenisei Kyrgyz capital "since 970", but the page Tuva is about the modern Republic, not a city. You gave a citation but this refers to a full 24-page article rather than a specific page number, which makes it harder to confirm the capital. Please can you give a page number, and explain whether there is any connection between Tuva republic and the Yenisei Kyrgyz capital? – Fayenatic London 07:12, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Page 89, "R. Klaprot’a göre, bu tarihlerden sonra Kırgızlar bölgedeki güçlerini kaybetmeye başlayınca "970 yılında Kırgız hanı ordasını (başkentini-karargahını) Moğolistan’dan Tuva’ya taşımıştır" (According to R. Klaprot, after these dates, the Kyrgyz increased their power in the region. When he began to lose, "the Kyrgyz Khan moved his horde (capital-headquarters) from Mongolia to Tuva in 970.), his source: 47 V. V. Bartold, Kırgız Cana Kırgızstan Tarihi Boyunça Tanda ima Emgekter, Bişkek:Soros Fondu Yayınları, 1997. s.35.
You're right, Tuva is not a city. Maybe I should change it as region. BurakD53 (talk) 09:07, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

From Turkish Vikipedi[1]. You can see it in University's website as well. BurakD53 (talk) 14:06, 11 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Thanks for creating Nomgon complex which I think is a notable topic, but the referencing needs improvement by the addition of reliable sources. The Facebook reference should be removed, as it's not considered a reliable source WP:RSPFB since it is user-submitted content with no editorial oversight. If a news article picked up on it and reported it, that could be used. I looked for refs, added one, but it turned out to be unreliable and removed it. Have you done a search of academic journals, that seems like a possibility. Netherzone (talk) 01:49, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The complex and the inscription have just been found and announced at the press conference 2 days ago, and the social media has been agitating for 3 days. Since it is new, an academic article has not been published. The president of the International Turkic Academy makes his announcements on his Facebook account or goes on television channels and gives speeches, and news sites get information in this way. Most of the news sites in the Turkish and Kazakh media have informations, but unfortunately there is no article. idk if there is any, I can't find any. This is a likely notable topic, but the sourcing is poor (Facebook is not a reliable source) and the other source (in Turkish) is not enough to support the article in Main space. An indepth online search does not find any reliable sources at this time (it may be too early, and in a few months when scientific or academic journals or news reports develop on the discovery. The draft can be worked on in draft space, and when additional sources in reliable secondary venues, such as news or journal articles, can be found it can be submitted for review.
