Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, C.HAVOC, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as User:C.HAVOC/sandbox, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:C.HAVOC/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://broadpalsmusic.com/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. theinstantmatrix (talk) 21:56, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on User:C.HAVOC, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It appears to be a clear copyright infringement. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.

  • It appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free Web hosting service. (See section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)

Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because... cause I own everything that is just a blog that I submitted my content too they do not own the rights to my bio or pictures or music in any way shape or form.. if you need more information about my content or if own the rights contact me via email - (Redacted) so I can prove It --C.HAVOC (talk) 21:59, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You should see Wikipedia:Autobiography then. Also, this an encyclopedia; it's not a social networking site nor where you can make a blog about yourself. theinstantmatrix (talk) 22:11, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I've added another criteria, WP:U5, for this reason. theinstantmatrix (talk) 22:15, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

its a bio does it look like I'm networking no.. or using my social media no.. or blog no. I said the person ADDED IT TO THEIR BLOG. I didn't write this my self I paid a professional to write the bio for me thanks.

C.HAVOC, if you own the content in question, please read this page and follow the instructions on it for how to make the material available under a compatible license. Please note that just because content is compatibly licensed does not mean that we have to accept it on Wikipedia. TonyBallioni (talk) 22:30, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

you guys don't make since.. I own the rights to my content not the blogger.. and you just delete it without reason.. that's like me seeing content you own and I delete it off my website. cause somebody else blogs about it. try to make a little bit more since.. or just give me the email to home office.. instead of talking to you cause none of you make since

If you own the copyright, you are free to release it under a compatible license. Follow the instructions at this link. Note that when you release it under a free license you are certifying that anyone anywhere in the world can use the text for any reason they want and change it in any way they want so long as they attribute it to the copyright holder and release it under the same terms. This is why we cannot accept material that is copyrighted, even if you own it, without proof that it is free content that has been irrevocably licensed as such. It is for your protection as much as ours. TonyBallioni (talk) 22:44, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
