Hi, by adding the template, it dosen't put you on that list. It just puts you in the category of members. You need to add your self to the participants list.

Now, I'm really sorry about this, but notability guideline and consensus reached by the project long ago state that an NRL grand final is not notable enough on it's own to warrant it's own article on Wikipedia. This is the case with all the season pages in the NSWRL/ARL/SL/NRL season pages.

If you look at any of the other season pages, including 2008, you will notice that the grand final section is underneath the final series and is in a consistent format. I/We are sorry that alot of you're work is simply going to be redirected to the 2008 season page.

If you would like, I have just noticed that the 2008 Grand final section hasn't been completed. Perhaps the best way to finish it and make it consistent is too look at the 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002 and 2001 (there are also many more) Grand final pages.

Thankyou for your assistance in Rugby league articles, welcome to Wikipedia, and if you require any more assistance, reply here and I will contact you here.  The Windler talk  21:49, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ITN[edit]

Current events globe On 6 October, 2008, In the news was updated with a news item that involved the article(s) 2008 NRL Grand Final, which you created or substantially updated. If you know of another interesting news item involving a recently created or updated article, then please suggest it on the In the news candidates page.

Great job. Normally an NRL final wouldn't go up, but the record score definitely asserted notability. Congrats, and nice work, SpencerT♦C 22:23, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re:FLCon[edit]

Thanks for entering! You can actually start work whenever you like, you just aren't allowed to submit for FLC until the tenth. -- Scorpion0422 14:04, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

List of AFL grounds[edit]

Nice work so far but the biggest thing missing at the moment are references. I don't think you'll get close to FL standard without a lot more references. Let me know if you need a hand. Also, with the international exhibition ground list, Freo vs Bris in South Africa and Pies vs Crows in Dubai were actual Pre-season cup games, not exhibition games.The-Pope (talk) 09:30, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi there. I've made a few suggestions on the talk page. More or less what Pope said; needs heaps more references. Reyk YO! 03:21, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the message. I will have to read the rules on this. Seems, Filipinos like us do not on the average have or grow beards or mustaches. Cheers.

Re: Contest Invitation[edit]

Thanks for the offer, but I'm afraid it's not for me. However, feel free to let me know on my talk page when the topic changes, and I'll see if anything catches my eye. Cheers, –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 13:11, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I also have to decline. I simply don't have time at the moment. Apologies, but good luck with the contest. ;) ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 16:30, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Walrus moustache[edit]

I worked on the Walrus moustache article and added some interesting facts. There isn't too much information on this particular style, however I am sure what I added will be enough. Let me know what you think. Thanks. Bmedick (talk) 03:10, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Contest[edit]

Hi -- I'm afraid I see your contest as a kind of cruft that doesn't contribute to building an encyclopedia, and I've raised the question on wp:an. I'm sure you mean well, but I personally don't want things like this complicating the landscape. Regards, Looie496 (talk) 17:12, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
