@CabbagePotato: Hi, I'm BluJay and I'd like to say that after 11 days on Wikipedia, my userpage looked a whole lot worse, and still does. How and where do you make your own userboxes, because I think that's neat and would love to make some, except I don't know how and can they my userpage out of heading size 1 and therefore cannot edit it. @BluJay: Hello there! I'm not very good at explaining things, so I'll just list off some things you might want to take a look at.

I mostly looked on WP:UBX for the basic syntax for my userboxes, as well as what each of the parameters do. (For the section that contains the wikicode I used, on the same page: Wikipedia:Userboxes#Constructing_a_userbox.) My custom userboxes pretty much follow the same syntax; they just have different images and text.

To customize your userboxes' colors, you can find a list of colors just by searching for "list of colors" or starting with List of colors: A-F, from where you can also choose other lists of colors from the "See also" section right under the title.

For the pictures, you can look in the Wikimedia Commons for those, as long as the image you want is free. (I mostly chose images already used in Wikipedia articles, since I assumed that they didn't violate Wikipedia policy. You might want to review Wikipedia's policy on images if you're unsure about an image, since I'm not too familiar with image usage.)

I should also tell you that two of my userboxes actually came from templates others had made; they are found on Template:User_oops and Template:User_Wikipedian_for. (The latter of these I cannot make myself; I don't know how to code that.) In case you don't want to make your own boxes, you can look in WP:UBXG (which contains different categories of boxes) and/or WP:UBX/UBX. Some Wikipedians will also make userboxes for you if you ask them; there's a list at the end of WP:UBX, but I'm not sure how accurate or complete that list is.

That's all I can think of right now. Hope this answer makes sense, and that it isn't too long. If you have any questions, you can always go to the Teahouse to ask, since there are probably other users who are much better at explaining things (or give better advice). Good luck! Characters of Casualty

It was a worthy edit. Tess is no longer a character in Casualty so her character should no longer be on the current characters page? Not sure if you know, but there is actually a page for past Casualty characters; you could have moved Tess's character bio there. However, there's no need to do that anymore as someone has already removed Tess's bio from the "Characters of Casualty" article and moved it to "List of past Casualty characters". Tildes in TeaHouse

Hello again! Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like you're asking if you are required to sign your posts with four tildes before and after your name in the Teahouse (example: --~~~~Lukaslt13~~~~). If this is your question, the answer is no. On any talk page (not just the Teahouse), you should sign your posts with just four tildes.

I also noticed that you appear to sign your posts by typing out your name at the end, like this: --~~~~Lukaslt13. You don't need to actually type out your name at the end because, just by typing in the four tildes by themselves (like this: --~~~~), the links to your user and user talk pages are automatically created. Having these links at the end of your posts already identifies who posted the message, so it is not necessary to type out your name at the end. CabbagePotato (talk) 17:44, 28 December 2015 (UTC)
