Hi Cartoon Network Freak! I recently nominated the Ariana Grande and The Weeknd song "Love Me Harder" to become a good article. Since I know that you love pop music, would you like to review the article? ~MagicatthemovieS (talk) 02:21, 8 September 2017 (UTC)

@MagicatthemovieS: Hi there! Sadly, the issues from GA1 weren't solved, so I think renominating the article now is useless. Please ask for a copy-edit on the page before you do anything else. Best, Cartoon network freak (talk) 21:27, 8 September 2017 (UTC)

GA Review

Hello! I just want to notice you that I've nominated "Sledgehammer" again. Although I was expecting a detailed review when I nominated it for the first time, I haven't seen all those issues in the article, thanks for the previous review.I ain't sure if I can call that a "review" Do you have some interest in take a look at the article one more time? If possible, I would be so grateful. LikeGaga (talk) 20:52 7 September 2017 (UTC)

Sledgehammer

Hi dude! I didn't mean to sound rude. Thank u so much for review the article again. I have to confess, I'm really disappointed with those three reviews! When u picked up the articles I was like: "Wow! He finally will review it." I was expecting a great review from you, I was shocked when you failed "Same Old Love" and used the review for "Problem" as example to justified why you didn't passed that, "Same Old Love" is very well written, readable and completely meeting the GA criteria, nothing compared to "Problem" that is completely different in terms of grammar and organization.

Look, you're a great reviewer, I admire so much your works in Wikipedia, the way that u expand and put Inna and Alexandra articles to the top is so incredible. Please DGMW, I hope work with you again soon. LikeGaga (talk) 18:28, 16 September 2017 (UTC)

@LikeGaga: Hi again! Yes, I knew you didn't mean to be rude I must also say that all the reviews that I did in the last two weeks were time-limited, and I failed these articles because, at least at first, it seemed like you were a user that just nominated those article without knowing the criteria and not editing those pages. If I have enough time, I might do a "real" re-review for "Same Old Love", or at least edit it by myself for you to renominate it again sometime. However, you can't expect me to review "Sledgehammer" again, as I have edited it. Best of regards and "see" you soon. Btw, did you know Inna or Alexandra Stan before? That would interest me lol! Best, Cartoon network freak (talk) 18:37, 16 September 2017 (UTC)

Date formats

Hi. I'm pretty sure I've asked you before, but can you please adapt the date format of references you copypaste into articles? Just earlier, you used sales references on several British artists' song articles while using mdy (October 3, 2017) format. These articles already use dmy (3 October 2017) date formats. Thanks. Ss112 01:17, 3 October 2017 (UTC)

@Ss112: Hi there! No, you haven't asked me that before, but I usually adapt date formats as I know there are two versions in use on Wikipedia. Guess my edit of "Praying" was an error. Best regards, Cartoon network freak (talk) 04:46, 3 October 2017 (UTC)

Some stroopwafels for you!

it's a bit late but thank you so much for your incredible work on "More Than Friends"! really glad folks like you are out there cleaning up after my messes lol ~Helicopter Llama~ 14:07, 12 October 2017 (UTC)
@HelicopterLlama: Aw, thank you so much! . Almost all articles in the Party Never Ends and Inna/Body and the Sun are of GA status. I'm working on the I Am the Club Rocker era right now, where I only have few articles to clean up. Have you seen my recent edits to "Endless"? Best of regards and thank you SO much, Cartoon network freak (talk) 15:07, 12 October 2017 (UTC)

INNA

Hi Cartoon Network, Why you reverted my edits in Inna. Néyo (talk) 19:33, 20 October 2017 (UTC)

@Néyo: Hi there! I maybe seemed a little unfriendly, but your edits were irrelevant to the article. I have brought "Inna" to Good Article status on Wikipedia, and we have to keep that high level. Adding an oversized picture of her that doesn't even show her face properly isn't the best edit, plus capitalizing Inna to INNA is also not right in this case. Also, her biography should only list trivial facts about her music career. Someone who wants to see an overview of all her singles can see Inna discography. Hope that made my point clear; best regards! Cartoon network freak (talk) 19:55, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
thank you anyway, can you speaking Arabic language?. Néyo (talk) 20:04, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
@Néyo: I'm Romanian! I can speak Romanian, French, English and German, but Arabic is not included Where do you know Inna from? Best, Cartoon network freak (talk) 20:28, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
Yalla song, INNA shooting in Morocco. Néyo (talk) 20:34, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
Sir, ILove INNa very much, I'm Fan, she's cute and beautiful. Néyo (talk) 20:38, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
@Néyo: Inna didn't have an international hit in a while :( Hope one of her future songs will be a hit internatioanlly. Glad she's had an Arabic fan, at least on Wikipedia ! Cartoon network freak (talk) 20:48, 20 October 2017 (UTC)

Inna

Hello:

The copy edit that you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Inna has been completed.

I noticed a number of issues I think the GA reviewer should have asked you to address before passing the article:

In the 2008-2011 section the release of "Déjà Vu" is described as "controversial" because the artists used pseudonyms. This hardly seems controversial. Was there another reason for choosing this adjective?

Removed the adjective per your comments. Cartoon network freak (talk) 14:36, 31 October 2017 (UTC)

Also, the outcome of the lawsuit over "Club Rocker" is not explained. Was the suit successful or not?

There is no information about the case. It may have remained unsolved, but we don't know anything. Cartoon network freak (talk) 14:36, 31 October 2017 (UTC)

In the 2012-2016 section – Did anything come of the plagiarism accusations surrounding "More Than Friends"?

Nothing came out as plagiarism. Cartoon network freak (talk) 14:36, 31 October 2017 (UTC)

In the 2016 to Present section the names of the two singles that were released should be mentioned.

Mentioned the singles' names now. Cartoon network freak (talk) 14:36, 31 October 2017 (UTC)

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Andrea

Hello dear Cartoon Network Freak! Can you make an article about song Passion (Andrea song), find cover, radio positions, plot of music video and references? If you make this article, I will be grateful! Thank you! --188.170.82.192 (talk) 05:33, 8 December 2017 (UTC)

Hey and welcome to Wikipedia :) I like that song too, but I'm quite preoccupied with Inna's articles at the moment; I doubt I'd get around to that Andrea song sorry! You should really give it a shot and expand it yourself though, if you have any queries about editing or Wikipedia policies or need some guidance feel free to ask me or an editor at Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions. Using your Wikipedia:Sandbox is also very helpful for practicing. Cheers Cartoon network freak (talk) 14:37, 8 December 2017 (UTC)

Re: Hi!

Yes, it is me, thank you so much for continuing to reference my work on the Inna and Alexandra Stan articles, I'm extremely grateful. I used to use Wikipedia a lot and create my own pages, but I haven't done it in years, hence why I haven't used my account for ages. Thanks again, and I hope you continue to use my work as a reference on here. Jonni_Boi (Talk) 00:06, 12 December 2017 (UTC)

Inna/Diskografie

Hello,

i wanted to ask if you could create the discography of Inna in the German Wiki, because you speak German and have way more knowledge about her musical carrier than I do. --Lee (talk) 17:55, 16 December 2017 (UTC)

@TRYHARDFLY: Hi there! Maybe I can that in the future, but right now I don't have much spare time. However, I consider that as a future project. Best regards, Cartoon network freak (talk) 18:29, 16 December 2017 (UTC)
Just a little Help if you find the time: Vorlage:Charttabelle and if you need an example created by myself Kollegah/Diskografie. --Lee (talk) 18:39, 16 December 2017 (UTC)
Cartoon network freak (talk) 19:26, 16 December 2017 (UTC)
Vom Standard DE+AT+CH+UK+US sollte nur in Ausnahmefällen abgewichen werden.

Hello. Thanks for your recent review of Iveta Mukuchyan. The article is now copy-edited and the sources are mostly complete. If you are willing to re-review the article, please do so. Harut111 (talk) 18:27, 23 December 2017 (UTC)

Year-end lists

There is no requirement or real precedent for these lists to use plainrowheaders. Frankly I don't care much, but I wouldn't go around and try to uniformly change all 2017 accolade lists to this. Also, it would be best not to use edit summaries like "fixed table" for what is a stylistic preference and addition that isn't required. Ss112 10:45, 24 December 2017 (UTC)

BALANS

Please do not revert our edits. The article was terribly inaccurate citing illegal releases and leaks of the song as the true release. You have no idea what you are talking about and are reverting our good faith edits to include poorly sourced reviews shitting on your fellow Romanian.

Not a good look.

Also, TOPHIT in Russia is listed as a BADCHART in wiki lists.

The English pronounciation you have of BALANS is wrong.

Basically, everything there was wrong and now corrected. It is a Sony Music song, not any of the others you mentioned which illegally leaked it out from Alexandra's old management (remember the beating she got from that guy, yes his associates).

Leave it be kindly, and go correct Romanian corrupt politician articles - I am sure you can have great fun with that!

If you want to be helpful, add the proper artwork by uploading it to the article otherwise do not touch it and I will in 3 days from now: https://i.scdn.co/image/c89d014527fd5b7365b8d42d592ab49aacb993fa — Preceding unsigned comment added by Musicstarboy007 (talkcontribs) 11:10, 25 December 2017 (UTC)

Erick or Erik for Inna's Ruleta

It's actually supposed to be Erik. Inna's team made a typo when they first released Ruleta as well as the single cover, this typo lasted a day or so before the team changed it to the correct spelling of "Erik", you can see this if you look at iTunes, Spotify, and YouTube. The video on YouTube now says "Ruleta (feat. Erik)" and so do most of the iTunes stores and Spotify. Here's the YouTube link to prove it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ax9ge-ymWIQ and here's her Instagram where she hashtagged #Erik and not Erick https://www.instagram.com/p/BU7UsrIh-EE — Preceding unsigned comment added by Critic Jonni (talkcontribs) 16:52, 4 January 2018 (UTC)

@Critic Jonni: Hi! This issue remains unclear, as the featured artist has been referred to with both "Erick" and "Erik". While you may be right, the links in the article's "Release history" all say "Erick", still. I think we should leave it "Erick" for now; also, this isn't one of the key points. Cartoon network freak (talk) 16:58, 4 January 2018 (UTC)

The WikiCup

The scoring rules state "Content must have been worked on and nominated during the competition." This means that you cannot claim for articles you created or improved last year unless you have done significant amounts of work during 2018. For example, an article which appears on the main page in DYK now will only qualify if you created it or expanded it in 2018. A GA that is promoted now will only qualify if the article was significantly worked on during 2018, before it was nominated at GAN. An FA that is promoted now will only qualify if the article was significantly worked on during 2018, before it was nominated at FAC. A GAR will only qualify if you took up the review in 2018.

Don't worry if this means that it takes several weeks before you can claim any points. Everyone is in the same boat, and traditionally, moving on to the second round in March requires the accumulation of very few points. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 10:37, 6 January 2018 (UTC)

"Green Light" (Lorde song)

Hello:

The copy edit that you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Green Light (Lorde song) has been completed.

One thing I'll draw to your attention — from the Background and release section the citation used does not include the quotation in this sentence as far as I can see.

She states that she felt "like being a psycho" and simply "bursting back and being like, 'Here it is! All of it! This is everything that I've been feeling!'" (ref name="Pitchfork")

Hey Hey Hey

Hey Hey Hey... Hey

I suggest you withdraw this. It was released as a single on 12 January, and you nominated it on 13 January. It is very likely to change now that it has been given release, thus any GA pass will soon make it needing to be reviewed again within weeks. You should wait until the stability of the history has calmed down. There are currently grounds to fail this article based on the history being unstable, partly because of its exposure as a single, but also because you listed it for GOCE while nominated for GAN.. So, I suggest you withdraw and until wait it stabilizes and so you have all forthcoming relevant information.  — Calvin999 14:53, 25 January 2018 (UTC)

Copy Edit of List of Airplay 100 number ones of the 2010s

Here are a few notes on the copy edit:

  • As of 26 February 2012, it is aired weekly as a podcast – should this be "since" and "has" rather than "as of" and "is"? I'm not certain that it's wrong, but "as of" is often used to indicate when information was obtained, where here I believe it indicates the time this practice began.
  • The MOS discourages inline links to non-English Wikipedias (Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Linking#Interwiki links) though it does note that {{Interlanguage link}} may be helpful. However, this template produces red links for the "missing" English articles. Featured list criteria for style call for MOS compliance but "a minimal proportion" of redlinks. So I guess that leaves you to choose whichever you find least offensive. I did all the interlanguage links on my last edit so that it's easy for you to revert/undo if you don't like them. I suppose another alternative would be to use {{ro icon}} after the links (this produces "{{ro icon))"), though that's usually reserved for the external links and references sections.
  • I feel there was some WP:OVERLINKING in the list, but you just wanted the lead checked so I didn't remove them.
  • Should a "run" at the top of the charts be for consecutive weeks only? There were a couple cases where runs were broken ("Don't Be So Shy" and "Happy") and I'm wondering if there's a better way to convey that. Actually, I see that it is covered in the captions.
  • It's a little odd to not see any bold text in the lead, though perfectly fine with MOS.
  • I noticed that Black Widow (song) redirects to a disambiguation page; that should ideally be fixed for the FAC.

Please give me a {{ping}} if you have any questions or comments. I have closed this request so that you can add another to the GOCE request page. Thanks! – Reidgreg (talk) 00:05, 14 February 2018 (UTC)

Hey! How you doing? You have done a outstanding job on "Hey Hey Hey", the article is really GA-worth. But I'm not writing on your talk-page only to congratulate you. So, I have nominated an article recently, I would love to see your comments there, if you can pick it up for a review, I would really appreciate. Don't feel obligated but I currently have Riot shield nominated for GAN if you're interested. No worries if the topic is a bit too different what you normally work on though haha. Freikorp (talk) 06:15, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
@Freikorp: Hi there! I would love to review your GAN, but it seems like I don't have the required vocabulary for this type of articles. I even struggle with movies lol... Hope someone else will pick it up, though. Best regards, Cartoon network freak (talk) 07:21, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
No worries, thanks for letting me know. :) Freikorp (talk) 07:23, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
@Freikorp: Have you got any other GAN in a topic related to music or something similar? Cartoon network freak (talk) 07:24, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
Not at the moment but I'll let you know next time I do. :) Freikorp (talk) 07:26, 30 March 2018 (UTC)

Folk singer Tatyana

Dear Cartoon Network Freak! Can you make an article about song of pop folk singer Tatyana Za golemite mazhe and find cover? Thank you! --178.67.183.74 (talk) 07:12, 1 April 2018 (UTC)

I read over your review and I completely understand that the article still needs more work and maintenance. Truth is, once I finished adding many sections and information into the article, it drained me from editing. All I wanted to do was transfer the data where it belonged so I know why a lot of grammatical errors are on there. It was my mistake to put it up for review. However, I will take all your suggestions and fix any other errors I see. Hopefully I will be able to re-nominate it sometime in the future. De88 (talk) 01:28, 5 April 2018 (UTC)

Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know you did something silly.

You've managed to insert a second copy of the entire article which was a bit silly. Just want to point that out to you. Iggy (Swan) 16:45, 6 April 2018 (UTC)

@Iggy the Swan: Hi! I don't take it too seriously, but this should've gone to someone else... I did not insert a second copy of the article, but rather inserted a version of it without an unsourced, recently added paramter (net worth). As there was an edit conflict, I had to copy my entire edited version and insert it. Cartoon network freak (talk) 17:53, 6 April 2018 (UTC)

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. – jona 14:54, 11 April 2018 (UTC)

DYK for No Sleepin'

On 22 April 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article No Sleepin', which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Romanian singer Corina portrays a female punk burlesque character in the music video for her 2010 single "No Sleepin'"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/No Sleepin'. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, No Sleepin'), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Thoughts on Mami

Hello! I hope that you are doing well. I was just curious about your thoughts on the album now that it has been released? I have not had a chance to listen to all of the songs, but the title track has certainly grown on me. Great work with all of the Alexandra Stan-related articles and lists. Aoba47 (talk) 20:49, 8 May 2018 (UTC)

@Aoba47: Hi! Wow, I did not think you would be so interested in Stan's music; surely I will give you a short review of the album tomorrow ! I think you saw I've pinged you here, as I thought you could help out in a difficult situation. However, please do this only if you have time. Btw, right now I'm watching the first semi of the Eurovision Song Contest; Romania's in semi 2 on Thursday, with the final being on Saturday. I'm sure Romania will qualify as they did all the years they've participated... Pity you're from the United States ;) Best; Cartoon network freak (talk) 20:59, 8 May 2018 (UTC)
  • Thank you for the response, and I hope that you are enjoying the Eurovision contest so far. I unfortunately do not have the time to help with the GAN, but good luck with it! Aoba47 (talk) 01:17, 9 May 2018 (UTC)
  • @Aoba47: Hi there, again. In response to your question, here are some comments regarding Mami. Overall, I think the album has its uppers and lowers, whereas my favourite tracks are "Mami", "India", "Round & Round", "Ou La La" and "Thinking About You". Similarly, "Mami" also grew on me a lot, and I think its production is very complex. (I also love the "c'est incroyable/c'est impossible" part in the refrain, if you know what I'm talking about... ;)). If you will ever have the chance to listen to Mami, then you should definitely check out the aforementioned singles. Stan will also release the album apart from Japan this summer, and she has previewed some tracks to be featured on the international version of the album, some of which are real bangers and could potentially become long-awaited follow-up hits to "Mr. Saxobeat". As for the commercial performance of Mami, it's really underwhelming. Even her several fans in Japan let her down on sales (debut at number 119 in Japan, meaning maybe 1,000 copies sold). Stan's career is taking a negative turn; while she's still one of the whealthiest Romanian singers based on her expensive-to-attend concerts (especially during Christmas in Romania), her recent singles mostly all did not reach any charts, apart from some minor success of "Noi doi" and "Boy Oh Boy" in Romania and Lithuania. And with no at least decent hits, an album will definitely flop (in this case Mami). Inna, the other big Romanian singer, at least has some (Eastern) European hits, still (e.g.: "Ruleta", "Nirvana"). Hope Stan will someday have another big or decent hit like "Mr. Saxobeat"... . Fun fact, her recent collaboration with Manuel Riva on "Miami" is currently climbing the US Dance Club Songs chart, the first time Stan ever reached a US chart after "Mr. Saxobeat"... Best; Cartoon network freak (talk) 09:27, 10 May 2018 (UTC)
  • (talk page stalker) Hey ya'll, I actually downloaded the album...my favorite tracks are "India" and "Thinking About You" while the titular is growing on me as well. I agree with Cartoon network freak, I previewed her collaboration with Play N Skillz and I really hope that it makes its way to the international version. Stan's album sales are mostly the fault of poor marketing and release strategies she/the producers have had post-Saxobeats. I can't think of any pop singer who would release an album in Japan, weeks or months before it is available in other markets. By then, the album would have been pirated and sales will flatten. The thing I like about Stan's albums is that they don't all sound the same, whereas Inna has recycled the same "Hot" sound over and over again, so there were really no surprises that her Nirvana album failed to make an impact. The only way both singers could ever make it in the US markets is to come up with something fresh and actually record a pop song and not the recycled Eurodance music that is only popular on European music charts. Anywho, that's my two cents jona 12:39, 10 May 2018 (UTC)
  • @AJona1992: Hi there and thanks for joining ! I'm very sure that one of the tracks she previewed for the international version will be released as a single soon ("Stay", most probably, if you've seen the preview for that). I think both Inna and Alexandra Stan have evolved from their 2009/2011 era, which is especially showed on their latest releases; for Nirvana, Inna tried several combinations between dance and traditional/Indian music (e.g.: "Don't Mind", "Ruleta", "Lights"... if you know those), and Stan's sound is also more 'rich' on Mami. I do agree with your point regarding promotion, as she has no big label to back her up apart from Roton, which saddly does nothing special for her music. She has recently founded her own label, Alexandra Stan Records, and has released her latest singles and partly the album through her own means, but I doubt this was a good strategy. Apart from the album, I noticed Stan is very provocative lately; have you seen her Facebook photos? She's often 90% naked and you can see her things through the almost transparent clothing she wears. Is she maybe trying to push her sales with this? In any case, I hope she's doing fine and finds some support from some big labels (she's moved to the US right now, btw). She is really talented and smart, I can assure, and deserves to have a bit more success. Best; Cartoon network freak (talk) 13:09, 10 May 2018 (UTC)
  • This is a really awesome discussion! I still have yet to listen to really any of the Mami album aside from the title track, but I will let you know as soon as I do. Not to bring the mood down, but I am not sure if Stan or Inna will really have major international success in the future. Working as independent artist with their own label offers more artistic control and freedom, but they definitely lose the funding and support that major labels provide (particularly in terms of radio play, promotion, and visibility). I agree with jona that the best strategy for them is pick a more unique sound as the Eurodance sound is pretty dated/overdone at this point and they have already done it on a lot of their songs/albums. They both seem to be experimenting with different sounds so that is definitely a good sign for both of them. I think that another major thing holding both of them back from future success is they do not really put on strong performances (I like both of their music, but I do not think they are necessarily good performers). We will just have to wait and see what the future holds for both of these artists though. Hopefully only good things! Aoba47 (talk) 20:25, 10 May 2018 (UTC)

@Aoba47:@AJona1992: Hi there! Since we're involved in such a great music discussion, I just wanted to know your opinions on a kind of different subject, if possible. This (alternative if the video is blocked in the US) is Romania's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. Just to roughly inform you on the subject, there are yearly about 40 (mostly European) countries that participate in the contest, which are then divided into two semi-finals, where they compete for a qualification for the Grand Final (Germany, UK, Spain, Italy, France and the host country are already pre-qualified to the final as members of the Big Five). In each semi-final, each of the ~ 19 countries competing there — along with two Big Five members — awards two sets of 1-12 points, with one set from the televoting and another one from a national jury panel. Based on the points received, 10 countries qualify from each semi-final to the Grand Final, along with the Big Five + the host country. The voting in the final is the same, but every of the about 40 countries that have competed in that year's Eurovision gives its televoting and jury votes.

This year, Romania's "Goodbye" sung by The Humans" failed to qualify for the Grand Final, marking the first time Romania achieved this bad feat in their 19-year participation history. Results from the semi-finals are not out yet until after the Grand Final of the contest, but I think The Humans were high with the televotes and very low with the juries (Romania has a very big diaspora and are always ranked highly by the televoters). I just wanted to know your opinions on the song and the performance. It's lyrically about some dark themes, including suicidal ideation, and they really brought the track to life during their artisitic, highly praised performance. In fact, everyone expected Romania to qualify, but at the end they didn't, for the first time. I'm really sad and disappointed, but just wanted to know what you guys think as American and non-Eurovision watchers, if it's possible for you to watch their short 3-minute performance. Best regards; Cartoon network freak (talk) 16:37, 11 May 2018 (UTC)

  • Just so you know, I cannot watch the video that you linked above as it is blocked in my country. I watched this video here, and I am assuming that it is the same performance. It is a good song, and the female singer did a good job with it. Even though I enjoyed the performance overall, I am not as enthusiastic/positive about it as you are. Something about the song feels a little generic or dated to me (for some reason, it reminds me of that mid-2000s pop/rock sound); I think that it would be a nice track on an album, but I would not have found it particularly memorable outside of that. I also wish that the female singer showed a little more emotion or connection with the song's subject matter. I found the part where she is singing alone with the cello player a little awkward. That is just my opinion though, and I have not seen any other Eurovision performance so I do not have a point of comparison. Overall, it is fine, but the lack of emotion for me stopped the performance from being great. Aoba47 (talk) 01:25, 12 May 2018 (UTC)
  • @Aoba47: Hi there again and thank you very much for your opinion! Actually, the performance you've seen was a very early one in Romania; maybe this link works for you? Everything was very much elevated for the Eurovision Song Contest semi-final. Best regards; Cartoon network freak (talk) 04:34, 12 May 2018 (UTC)
  • Thank you for the response and the video. The performance is really good; I am not crazy about the song, but it is good. It is a shame that it did not progress further, but at least, they had a chance to do great performances. Aoba47 (talk) 04:33, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
  • I actually never heard of Eurovision until YouTube recommended me to watch Animata's "Love Injected" (Latvia, 2015). I concur with Aoba47, it is an alright song, other nations had songs that actually stood out such as Ireland (my favorite), Cyprus, Latvia, and Sweden. – jona 23:33, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
  • @AJona1992: Hi and thank you as well for your response! I actually loved "Love Injected" back then and it stood out from all songs, coming in 6th place overall. This year, my favorites were Cyprus, Czech Republic, Moldova, Albania, France, Portugal and Slovenia. Moldova had a really entertaining show... Cartoon network freak (talk) 04:52, 15 May 2018 (UTC)

Request for Help with "The Way That I Love You" Charts

Hello! I hope that you are having a wonderful start to your weekend. I am currently doing work on the above article, and I was wondering if you could possible format the "Charts" table for me. I do not know all of the acronyms, and I always get annoyed when trying to do it so I would greatly appreciate the help if possible! Aoba47 (talk) 04:13, 26 May 2018 (UTC)

@Aoba47: Hi! I thought I teach you a little bit on how to format chart tables. First, you have to make sure the table is "wikitable sortable plainrowheaders" or "wikitable unsortable plainrowheaders". "Sortable" means that, for example in the chart table, you can list the entries by the peak position by clicking on the two black arrows. "Unsortable" is used when there's only one chart entry, and you don't need to sort anything. The last step is adding "!scope="row"|" in front of each entry, but you have to insert just "!scope="row"" if there is a template (e.g.: {{singlechart|Billboardhot100|...}}). Hope I could help you. Best; Cartoon network freak (talk) 07:24, 26 May 2018 (UTC)
  • Thank you. I just hate using the templates as I find them super annoying to use. Aoba47 (talk) 15:22, 26 May 2018 (UTC)

@SNUGGUMS: I'm sorry for that, but it's also not very cool to revert my edits. I'm not a new user and I do not add poppycock to song pages such as "One Kiss"; you know very well that the Airplay 100 is a reliable chart, but it is removed even with a note saying not to. I admit the Airplay 100 is not the most important ranking out there, but why remove it if it's reliable and the main chart of Romania? Cartoon network freak (talk) 12:15, 15 August 2018 (UTC)

Date formats

Hi. When you update peaks, even if you are copypasting the same reference around to different pages, please take a little more time to adapt the date format to the article you're editing. Alexandra Stan

Hey, so that large paragraph chunk in the lead section has been bothering me for quite some time. Is there a way to somehow move that paragraph around so that it does not feel so cluttered? I was thinking about dividing the sales/promotion and critical reception sections (while adding a bit more information to the latter part so it does not look so bare-bones). It would let the entire section flow nicer and not suffocate itself underneath the clutter of words. What do you think? De88 (talk) 02:01, 27 September 2018 (UTC)

@De88: Hi there! I would suggest you to do these changes and then we'll see the result and maybe do a copy-edit on it. It seems to be a good idea! Best; Cartoon network freak (talk) 04:45, 27 September 2018 (UTC)

Doubts about Eurovision in Romania

Hello

I would like to know who were the 16 members of the Romanian jury who voted on 30th April 1994. I would also like to know who was the Romanian commentator in 1994 and 1998. For this purpose, you can search this information in old press (newspapers, magazines, etc.) in your local library.

Greetings Carlos M.S. --Carlos MS (talk) 13:50, 4 October 2018 (UTC)

You can find all the commentators here, along with a reliable source. As for the jury members in 1994, I'm not sure if I can find that; a Google research seemed to be helpless. Cartoon network freak (talk) 13:57, 4 October 2018 (UTC)

Hello. I added the information about the commentators in 1994 and 1998, but without search in reliable sources, because my Romanian is not very good and it's too far from my country, but I'd love to go there and find out information on the subject. Andreea Demirgian told me on an e-mail that she was a commentator from 2000. Moreover, an example of reliable source could be newspaper "Adevărul".

Greetings Carlos M.S. --Carlos MS (talk) 09:48, 5 October 2018 (UTC)

This and this are the sources for the Romanian commentators on the 1994 and 1998 contest. Could you give me the link to the Adevărul article? Cartoon network freak (talk) 12:32, 5 October 2018 (UTC)

Hello What I really asked to is to research in that newspaper in your local library. Ask for 30th April 1994 and 9th May 1998.

Greetings Carlos M.S. Carlos MS (talk) 16:02, 5 October 2018 (UTC)

Ah, now I understand what you mean by "local library". I think you got something wrong there. I'm a Romanian, but I live in Germany. I think you should ask someone else who lives in Romania. Greetings! Cartoon network freak (talk) 18:18, 5 October 2018 (UTC)

Featured topic vote

Hello, how are you? I hope you are fine. I was wondering if you could possibly vote for Featured topic candidates/Overview of Tove Lo? It's been a while since I nominate it and I don't want it to get archived. If you can't, it's okay, I understand. Thank you, and have a nice day. Regards, --Paparazzzi (talk) 03:40, 6 October 2018 (UTC)

ArbCom 2018 election voter message

Hello, Cartoon network freak. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Taken by a Stranger

The article Taken by a Stranger you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. If these are fixed within 7 days, the article will pass; otherwise it may fail. See Talk:Taken by a Stranger for things which need to be addressed. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of MaranoFan -- MaranoFan (talk) 17:21, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

Not sure why Legobot failed to deliver the automated message but the article has passed the GA nom. Well done and Congrats!--NØ 21:48, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

Lists?

Hey, I was about to pick up Romanian Radio Airplay Chart for a GA review but I think it actually qualifies as a list rather than an article, and thus should be nominated for featured list instead. (Same would be applicable to Romanian TV Airplay Chart). According to MOS:LIST, "List articles are encyclopedia pages consisting of a lead section followed by a list", and both of the aforementioned articles have no written content, but only table listings after the lead section. Cheers!--NØ 18:13, 27 November 2018 (UTC)

@MaranoFan: I understand. Could you pick Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest, though?
That one looks fine! When I have time, I'll do that or one of the song GANs since I'm more familiar with the latter type of articles. Cheers!--NØ 21:34, 27 November 2018 (UTC)

Copying the df= parameter to every article

Hi. When you update the Romanian peaks, can you please leave out the df= parameter? I'm assuming you're copying the same reference to every article with it intact and it's entirely useless if it's empty. I remove this when I see it (and have already removed it quite a few times), and then I see when you insert new peaks you readd it again. It's redundant as you adapt the date formats yourself, so please remove it from your copypasted reference(s). Thanks. Ss112 20:38, 10 December 2018 (UTC)

Incomplete DYK nomination

Hello! Your submission of Template:Did you know nominations/Rhythm Inside (Loïc Nottet song) at the Did You Know nominations page is not complete; if you would like to continue, please link the nomination to the nominations page as described in step 3 of the nomination procedure. If you do not want to continue with the nomination, tag the nomination page with {{db-g7}}, or ask a DYK admin. Thank you. DYKHousekeepingBot (talk) 07:30, 12 December 2018 (UTC)

Complaints?

Regarding this, I just asked you to do one simple thing. You don't have to remove my talk page message to you and be all snarky about it—pointing out a parameter you readd is useless (as it is, because you leave it empty) is hardly a "complaint". This is a complaint because of your attitude at being asked to do something small. Last thing I knew, you were asking me for advice on my talk page. This is a 180. Ss112 07:34, 12 December 2018 (UTC)

@Ss112: I didn't delete your message; there is something called archive I have [1]. I'm sorry for being rude to you, but you're always writing those messages as if you've had already told me a thousand times about the respective issue before (which you haven't). Regarding the question I've posted on your talk page, I was just asking you for advice because I know you're an experienced user. I could have theoretically asked any other user. Will do that in the future. Cartoon network freak (talk) 14:30, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
I thought you might have seen my removals of the df parameter on the articles you have edited, and I've written a lot of talk page messages to editors so I forget who I've sent what. Also, I'm not annoyed by being left talk page messages asking me questions, I was pointing out that if you're asking a question of somebody, generally you would be on good terms with them. Ss112 00:49, 13 December 2018 (UTC)
@Ss112: Let's forget about this! I'm really sorry... Cartoon network freak (talk) 05:22, 13 December 2018 (UTC)

Gabbie Hanna

Lol I forgot how to reply on my own talk page but I wanted to thank you for your kind message. Merry Christmas to you too! VoltronUniverse (talk) 19:26, 25 December 2018 (UTC)

@VoltronUniverse: You just edit the respective message :) Cartoon network freak (talk) 22:06, 25 December 2018 (UTC)

Infobox Merger for Gabbie

Hey there, I was wide rung if you knew a possible way to add a Musical Career section to Gabbie Hanna’s infobox. Similar to the way YouTube Infirmation is there. I tried a few different things, but none worked. I just wanted to add the parameter genre, instruments, label, and associated acts. VoltronUniverse (talk) 14:05, 27 December 2018 (UTC)

@VoltronUniverse: Hang in there, I will work on the infobox later today. See you then! Cartoon network freak (talk) 14:18, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
@VoltronUniverse: Oh, I forgot to say that I'm planning to restructure Hanna's whole article tonight, so stay tuned :) Cartoon network freak (talk) 16:15, 27 December 2018 (UTC)

Cleanup on Gabbie Hanna

Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016

Have you forgotten to review the article? MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 19:40, 28 December 2018 (UTC)

@MarioSoulTruthFan: Oh yes, indeed :( I will do that in the next days. Thank you for reminding! Cartoon network freak (talk) 19:44, 28 December 2018 (UTC)
You welcome. I was afraid you might had forgotten. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 19:48, 28 December 2018 (UTC)

Gabbie Hanna

Awards section

Hey there! I hate to sound like a bother, but do you know how to add an awards section for Gabbie. I’m not familiar with charts that include stuff like colors. You’ve done such s good job reconstructing her page so o thought you might know. Thanks in advance for letting me bother you so much 😬😬 VoltronUniverse (talk) 14:19, 4 January 2019 (UTC)

@VoltronUniverse: You can bother me anytime! :) Could you just list all the awards she's won/was nominated for on the article's talk page? I'll then put in into a table. Cartoon network freak (talk) 16:41, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
@Cartoon network freak: It's done. I put all the ones I could find.

DYK for Rhythm Inside (Loïc Nottet song)

On 30 January 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Rhythm Inside (Loïc Nottet song), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that in a music video for Belgian singer Loïc Nottet's "Rhythm Inside", several people are taken to a warehouse, possibly for human experimentation? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Rhythm Inside (Loïc Nottet song). You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Rhythm Inside (Loïc Nottet song)), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Gregor Schmidinger

Dear Cartoon network freak, I saw that you undid my addition of the link to Gregor Schmidinger on the article for Homophobia (film). I re-added the link, because I just created the page for Schmidinger. Thanks! Interstellarpoliceman (talk) 14:27, 4 February 2019 (UTC)
