Mahto[edit]

Information icon Hello. Your recent edit to Mahto appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 20:50, 13 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Koery Mahto[edit]

Hello, Ccd121. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Koery Mahto".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. September 2020[edit]

Information icon It may not have been your intention, but one of your edits, specifically one that you made on Kushwaha, may have introduced material that some consider controversial. Due to this, your edits may have been reverted. When adding material that may be controversial, it is good practice to first discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them, to gain consensus over whether or not to include the text, phrasing, etc. If you believe that the information you added was correct, please initiate that discussion. Please do not add names of people as belonging to any caste groups without self-identification from them to the effect.SpacemanSpiff 19:14, 20 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

What part of the above message don't you understand? —SpacemanSpiff 12:25, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
One more violation and you will be blocked. If you can't read and abide by policies then this isn't the place for you. —SpacemanSpiff 19:42, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi some tips[edit]

Hi....There are some rules and regulations to edit wikipedia. WP:BLP rules have some provisions according to which caste requires self certification of the people.Even if they use surname it doesn't imply that they belong to the same caste or want to be called as a member of same caste group. If you want to include their names here you will have to bring sources in which they are saying themselves to be a member of that particular caste. I saw you making repeated edits against the administrator user:SpacemanSpiff on Kushwaha article. This is not good as you may be blocked for edit war. Since you are a new user I would like to advice.....you can create a seperate list article with the title people with Kushwaha surname. In this case you need not bring sources in which people are self certifying.I think now you will not engaze in edit war.ThanksHeba Aisha (talk) 03:24, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Also here [1] you are talking about discrimination( i guess) its not so.You can see we don't include people on the surname basis in any caste article. So better to go with my advice above.See similar list articles of castes exist. Here [2] & [3] Heba Aisha (talk) 03:30, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Then remove the notable people contents for caste like tripathi verma, pathak, shukla etc. There are many more. Can you proceed to remove as you dont allow caste based contents Ccd121 (talk) 06:45, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi calm down.....You have to learn a lot and with ur comments you are blocked for 31 hr. Plz check carefully the pages of shukla etc etc there must be sources in which people could be seen saying that they are part of that particular caste. Or i have already advised you to make a list article with title people with Kushwaha surname. But you can't include it here.Heba Aisha (talk) 17:02, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • This is a short block, but I must impress upon you that comments like this are not tolerated on Wikipedia. I can completely understand being frustrated - there are times when I've legit stomped around and grumbled (not so quietly) IRL about some of the policies and edits on Wikipedia, but it's very, very important to remember to be civil. Getting upset, using vulgar language, and assuming WP:BADFAITH of others is unlikely to achieve any resolution. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 10:49, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Heba Aisha. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Kushwaha have been undone because they did not appear constructive. I woild like to inform you that all contents were authentic and exists in Wikipedia. I have added notable people list. What's wrong in the construction may I know as you are saying its undone due to unconstructive. Could you please let me know what di you find unconsructive.
As all people name under Notable people section is alphabetical order and all names are exists in Wkipedia, You can check the each and every persons link for validation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ccd121 (talkcontribs) 11:30, 22 Jan 2022 (UTC)
Let's go through your edits.
  1. Why did you removed the sourced mention of bookkeeping?
  2. Mythical origins should be distinguished as such, plus you turned a sentence ("The Kushwaha claim descent...") into a fregment ("The Kushwaha descent...").
  3. The list of notable people appears to check out. If it's restored by another editor, it should be moved deeper into the article and possible shortened. But see discussion above on how this is not done for any other castes.

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Kushwaha, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. If there's an issue with including beekeeping, please discuss on the talk page and explain why it should be removed. Regardless, don't remove the reference.C.Fred (talk) 14:15, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Koeri into Draft:Koery Mahto. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 03:01, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

February 2022[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Kushwaha. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. DanCherek (talk) 03:22, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Ccd121

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username MPGuy2824, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Amit Mahto, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. To prevent the deletion, please add a reference to the article. You may remove the deletion tag yourself once the article has at least one reliable source.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|MPGuy2824}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Jairam Mahto moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Jairam mahto, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. HᴇʀᴘᴇᴛᴏGᴇɴᴇꜱɪꜱ (talk) 21:58, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As per my knowledge I think only at least one citations requires from the reliable sources. I have referenced 4 in relevant to this article published and all are from the reliable sources new papers. Ccd121 (talk) 22:10, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jairam Mahato requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
