Promotional editing[edit]

Wikipedia is not a medium for promoting, publicising, or praising anything or anyone, and promotional editing is not acceptable. I can only assume that is what you were referring to when you said that you created an article "shine out" a person. Also, please note that if your editing is related to work that you are paid for, then you are required to say so. A page where all the world gets to know about him: that is to say a page to publicise him, to make him and his work better known, in other words to promote him and his career. That is what promoting is. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 09:26, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
