Long ago 2004-2009 Zambian music was only to the males but starting early 2010s up to now the industry has been able to accommodate a lot of females. Zambian females musician now is counted on top 10 in Africa and being known worldwide. This development has made the music industry to be the major contributor to the economy growth of the country.
