When an article exists, improve that, not replace it. But first declare paid on your User page. And actually, rules for paid are that rather than directly editing an article, you are supposed to propose specific changes on the article's talk page, and then an editor with no paid or COI either implements the changes or not. Thank you for the feedback and guidance. I will continue to find proper citations for what I have written and then make recommendations on the original article. I will also make a note on my UserPage that this particular set of recommendations is based on research I did for a project for which I was paid and that I was asked to place portions of that research onto a Wikipedia page. --FastInfoPro (talk) 14:49, 24 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Be aware that there is a Wikipedia prejudice against paid editing, mostly because of years of abuse of the system (up to starting a deletion process and then contacting the person who had created the article and asking for pay to save it from being deleted). My key points are that editors might revert your changes on principle and then ask you to instead go to the Talk page of the article and propose specific changes there. As in, deleted this content " " and replace it with this content " ". Factual content without supporting references will always be reverted. Indeed I'm aware of the prejudice. And, while I would really like to see more pages on Wikipedia resemble a neatly laid out page similar to what I created (based simply off of pages I like and found easy to read), I fully understand the need to maintain the integrity of the site and to simply offer recommendations (quality) to an existing article. If I'm directed or asked to do something different, I'll do so. Again, to maintain the integrity of the site. As for my username - it has no similarity to a company name (that I'm aware of) and has been a favorite username of mine for many years. Though I am beginning to rethink it from a Wikipedia point of view. Edited to Add: After a moment of consideration, I've put in a request to change my username to something more general. Style

Wikipedia frowns on one-sentence paragraphs, and also on resume-type listing of a person's every accomplishments. When you edit the existing article, consider using the Donna Karen article as a model. And also, declare paid on your user page. David notMD (talk) 20:50, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
