An article you recently created, Raylib, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:

Speedy deletion nomination of Envision (software)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Envision (software) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.pm.inf.ethz.ch/research/envision.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lopifalko (talk) 07:53, 8 July 2019 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Draft:Young Dumb Thrills
[edit]Hello Charmk. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Draft:Young Dumb Thrills, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: In my opinion - and please feel free to disagree - a two sentence unreferenced stub does not a amount to unambiguous promotional content. DYK for Zofia Poznańska
[edit]On 24 September 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Zofia Poznańska, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Zofia Poznańska, cipher clerk to the Red Orchestra espionage group, was captured in Belgium by the Abwehr in 1941 and hanged herself in prison in 1942? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Zofia Poznańska. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Zofia Poznańska), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. [edit]Good Morning Sir, I hope you doing well Please let me introduce myself for you .. My name is "Ahmed AlNeaimy" i'm 32 years old from Iraq, Living in Turkey, Software and Web Developer.
I'm a simple man "like any developer" who love coding, build softwares and share a lot of useful thing with people, I developed a new tool using PanguTeam Tool for Jailbreaking Apple Devices without computer, my new tool works on Safari browser directly without need to connect Apple Devices to the computer to be able to Jailbreak
,This was impossible since about 2011-2012, until I developed my new tool in 2016, and it's helped the Jailbreak community to Jailbroke their Apple devices instantly, the Jailbreak community is too big, and there're a thousands and maybe million of Apple Devices are currently Jailbroken using my way, not even that the Jailbreak, there are too many services are using my new way to sign iOS Apps with Apple Developer Certificate and install the Apps outside AppStore, and anyone can use it easily.

- Hello Ahmed Neaimy, Hesham Hussain
I will try to help by explaining the process and suggesting the right thing to do according to my knowledge. At first, the article is created in 2018 in this page : Ahmed AlNeaimy then deleted after a deletion discussion : Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Ahmed_AlNeaimy and the page is protected from creation.
Trying to recreate an article which is deleted per deletion dicussion as in this page : Ahmed_AlNeaimy_(programmer) is not the right thing to do in Wikipedia.
It's deleted again and the page is protected which is expected.
To create an article in Wikipedia about a computer programmer we must prove that he is (Notable). At first don't take this personal. You may be very great programmer, but to have an article about you in Wikipedia, we need (3) things
(1) Achievements - Read this section WP:CREATIVE - for example "The person has created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work. In addition, such work must have been the primary subject of an independent and notable work (for example, a book, film, or television series, but usually not a single episode of a television series) or of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews." - If that thing already have a Wikipedia article (This will be very helpful).
(2) Significant-coverage in reliable secondary resources about the article topic itself. This means multiple resources about Ahmed himself that talk about him - something like many paragraphs written in books or newspapers for example. Not just a passing mention in a technical article.
(3) No Conflict of Interest - To have fair content about the subject, the article is expected to be written by other people (not Ahmed, not anyone who have personal connection with him).
Summary The article is deleted because the first and the second conditions are not satisfied. In the future when these secondary resources that talk about Ahmed in details exist, and when one of his projects becomes notable, it will be more easy to have a Wikipedia article. In this case someone else (not Ahmed) can start by writing a draft, then submitting it through (Articles for Creation) process. Charmk (talk) 21:06, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hello Ahmed Neaimy, Hesham Hussain
- Hello Mr Charmk
Thank you so much about being a helper person , I understand you and I think Ahmed will understand too . ref for influence on Carbon at Rust (programming language)
[edit]Hi,
We need a ref to support your addition that Carbon (programming language) was influenced by Rust. When this came up before, I checked the page, but as far as I can tell none of these articles directly support the claim that Rust influenced Carbon: https://www.phoneworld.com.pk/carbon-a-new-programming-language-from-google-as-a-c-successor/ https://mybroadband.co.za/news/software/453410-googles-carbon-programming-language-aims-to-replace-c.html https://thenewstack.io/google-launches-carbon-an-experimental-replacement-for-c/
The only page that mentions influenced by Rust is this GitHub text file. Which I'm not sure counts as a good enough source, especially because it only states that the governance/evolution process was influenced by Rust: https://github.com/carbon-language/carbon-lang/blob/trunk/docs/project/evolution.md
I've removed the edit again for now. But please don't hold it personally -- let me know if you have a better reference.

Jai programming language situation
[edit]Hi Charmk,
I noticed your edit on the Timeline of programming languages and your work on a previous draft of Jai (by Jonathan Blow). I find the situation about the Jai language quite curious, particularily in comparison to Mojo and its creator (Chris Lattner). Arguably, they are both in similar categories of notability, in terms of personally and the language(s) they have created. Yet, Mojo has an article and Jai does not.
Wikipedia lists the Jai (programming language) language to be found by search engines (which then redirects to Jonathan's page) and references the Jai programming language (at least here- Jai and here- Jonathan and Jai), so I can see how new editors or casual readers encountering the topic can get confused about the situation. Thus this could be the cause of them attempting to update programming related articles with Jai information.
There is an argument that the language is being treated strangely, because of how it's listed for search engines and then redirected, and it would seem to be more informative to have an article or at least a stub (and include the link to Jonathan's page). From conducting a casual search, there does seem possibly enough for you to give it another shot.Wukuendo (talk) 18:00, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
- Wukuendo Jai still under development and Jonathan provides Beta access to a small group of developers. We can't create a Wikipedia article about Jai if it's not released for public and covered by reliable and independent sources after release. These sources must provide significant coverage too. Once the Jai language is released and such coverage exist, we can go and write the Jai article. Charmk (talk) 04:15, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
