Alison Luff moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Alison Luff, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. moving drafts to mainspace[edit]

As reviewing administrator, I need to ask you to not move drafts you have started to mainspace yourself. It defeats the purposes of the whole system. It also causes difficulties in various aspects of the extremely complex macros that are used to do the process legitimately. If you have improved a declined draft sufficiently that you think it is ready to be moved , there are three acceptable ways to proceed: you can call attention to the improvements to the reviewer who declined it, you can ask for assistance at Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/Help desk, where questions are normally responded to by experienced reviewers in a few days. or you can ask the advice of some other experienced reviewer or administrator. I am aware of the reason that you gave for moving the article referred to in the above comments; it indicates you have not yet really understand that this is an encyclopedia.

Since the subject is possibly notable, and the article is now referenced, I have used my discretion, and decided to leave it in mainspace; anyone may of course list it for a community discussion at WP:AFD.

Please never do this again, but learn the rules, and follow them, both in the wording and the intention. DGG ( talk ) 05:19, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
