British Empire
After World War II, so many colonies became independent that it was not an empire anymore. The correct term for the country would be "United Kingdom", but Hong Kong was not part of the kingdom--it only belonged to the kingdom. HkCaGu (talk) 21:20, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
Due to Hong Kong's special history, the most appropriate and common notation is simply "Hong Kong", which is the most non-controverial form. The next most acceptable form is "British Hong Kong". In Ma Ying-jeou's case, I say just "Hong Kong" because whether it was British or not has no bearing in his life. HkCaGu (talk) 08:03, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Hi Chongkian.
I can see why you want to change English in Great Fire of London to something less Anglocentric. Kingdom of England is rather old fashioned. Just England would be better.--Charles (talk) 08:47, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
Hello. I've reverted the edits you made to this article because of overlinking (see the message from Hertz1888 above).
